I've just checked Lovehoney's site and the items they were selling as sexy schoolgirl are still there but are now called "sexy fantasy" outfit. No mention of schoolgirls- it's a start.

They use the ‘people’ word Don’t they?

So the schools should change something that's been around for decades that will take a lifetime to remove the association rather than the sex shop just stop selling the items immediately? Yep there's a difference in real terms but the only times I've seen the 'sexy schoolgirl' look is groups of young women out getting drunk, usually shouting at people in the street or peeing or throwing up in shop doorways. Not really that sexy but then that's youngster's having fun (lots of students here).

Of course I don't know about what people get up to in their bedrooms.

My ex could only get it up when I wore my school uniform. I was 13, he a decade older. I'm still having counselling for it.

I truly hope they get it banned but I suppose men who get turned on by it will just look for the real thing instead.
