Mental health in the bin

My mental health is shocking. I have severe OCD & Anxiety mainly health and death anxiety. My partner is away for four days abroad. I'm all alone with my 17 month old. Is it bad but jat I am panicking. I literally cannot think of anything worse then being alone for four days. All the same what ifs and panic that something bad is going to happen. I already feel sick dizzy and just ill. I'm trying not to get into the rabbit hole of something is wrong and I'm gonna drop dead at any second. What can I do to just try and relax and take my mind of it. I literally feel like I might pass out I'm so lightheaded. Even though I know the dizziness and lightheaded is normal for me (GP says I have BPPV,) I don't know how I'll get through these next few days.

What treatment are you having for those issues? Who is in charge of your treatment? (My GP says I can up my meds if I need to for a bit.)

I'm prescribed citalopram and beta blockers as well as diazepam butnindonstrugle.to.take.these as I'm worried about side effects. I also have CBT which Im on my third round and I've not found it helpful this far.

If you need the meds you need to really try and take them. In my experience no side effect is ever as bad as the MH issue it treats.
CBT is useful if you take what works and do it every day. Can you do something to distract you? Get some exercise? Get outside? Do something you usually enjoy?

@Wolfiefan we've already been out and about for a walk and we are now playing. It seems to be the physical symptoms that are filling my anxiety and thoughts about being alone for the next few days. All the what ifs.

Can you build a timetable for the next few days and stick to it? Then you'll at least know how you are going to spend your time?

Great you have a plan. Mindfulness helps me too.
