I'm not sure where to post this, but I wanted to say a big thank you to everyone who sent messages to me when I was unwell. I was so touched at the kindness of mumsnetters. Thank you.

Thank you especially to DumbledoresGirl who co-ordinated flowers etc and kept you updated with news.

I'm sure you will want to know what happened so I will give the basic outline: In layman's terms, I had a nervous breakdown in July and spent two months in hospital and a further month living with a friend before coming home last weekend. I am still not fully well, but I am in recovery now.

Thank you once again for your support.

I would like to change my mn name. Any suggestions?

Welcome back

DoctorFrankenSquonk · 11/10/2007 14:38

hey mate - sorry, didn't know any of this (just knew you hadn't been around recently)

glad you're on the road to getting better. Anything I can do to help, you've got my email so just holler.

For the name, I think you should go with something really upbeat and funky.... will have a ponder and get back to you.

stealthsquiggle · 11/10/2007 14:40

Good to see you back, and hope you continue to recover.

Ask Califrau for a name - she is the master of cool names (including seasonal ones!)

mufti · 12/10/2007 09:36

DutchOma · 12/10/2007 09:36

BandofMutantMonsters · 12/10/2007 10:01

Glad you are home again, and hopefully on your way to being fully better.

How about something completely different Pingu, or Doodles, or something cool even. Hmmm..........Ok they are a bit crap. Wil think some more.

ScottishMummy · 12/10/2007 10:08

smashing to have you back remember take it easy don't push yourself too hard. recovery is an individual process takes as long as it takes

onlyjoking9329 · 12/10/2007 10:13

how about ontheup? nice and positive.

anorak · 12/10/2007 10:14

Sorry I all but disappeared for a while as I was getting ready for our big move. Now I'm waiting to go but living at my sister's and her computer crashes every 2 mins so still not much better.

Great to log in and find this, you sound like a different person even in those few words. I never could understand why the NHS wasn't giving you the help you so obviously needed - sorry it came to a complete breakdown but at least now you will be taken seriously and given the correct treatment to get you completely well.

Agree a new upbeat name will be just right - how about phoenix?

Notquitegrownup · 12/10/2007 10:19

Welcome back. I'm so glad that you have been looked after for a while and that you are now back home, too. You've been in our thoughts a lot.
