Yorkie g .. did you see Trinny and Susannah at all tonight? I don't normally watch it, but they worked wonders on the 2 women in the prog, made them literally 'new' women... oozing with confidence etc.

Any chance you get do something similar, ie get yourself a personal shopper, have a makeover etc...
You sound like you need to spoil yourself a bit.

marthamoo · 13/10/2004 21:23

Well done for losing some weight!

I know you don't want to buy clothes (very sensible, save the money and have a big splurge when you are svelte) but how about a new hairstyle/new colour, some new makeup, jewellery (I have a bit of a Wallis thing going on at the moment - they have some gorgeous jewellery in there and really reasonably priced).

Go treat yourself - you can de-frump without buying clothes. Gawd, I sound like those bloody awful women - Trinny and Susanna. Go shop girl

Thunderbird1 · 13/10/2004 21:24

How about treating yourself to a new lipstick, handbag or shoes (depending on your budget) - usually works for me !! Or have a manicure - spoil yourself a bit - you deserve it !!

marthamoo · 13/10/2004 21:24

You are one step ahead of me already!
