Recently I seem to have experienced feeling shaky and weak, vague tension like headaches, absolute fatigue and also feeling really restless. I’ve also had muscle twitches and really tense muscles - all these things come on after I’ve been feeling particularly anxious. I don’t know if it’s bevause my anxiety is health based anyway but I didn’t realise how much anxiety can affect you physically!

A few people have mentioned this, and my gran used to too... the feeling of a hand creeping up your neck and then over your head.
And like a PP, it settled behind my left eye too.
I will also get a huge overwhelming feeling of doom. Like I have the urgent feeling to call my mum, clean my house, clear my internet browser history...
I have called 999 a few times because I was convinced I was going to die, but could not really explain how I felt that way. I have a dog, and wanted to let her out the front door and hope someone would catch her and look after her.
My heart races, but I also get convinced it is stopping.. I keep checking my pulse, and I get convinced my breathing is slowing so I keep counting my breaths.. and it just feeds into the anxiety.

@Starrr123

Hello! Yes I got the Amitriptyline, 10mg dose to be taken teatime.

First night, great sleep and woke feeling a little groggy but manageable. Felt slightly woozy all morning but again ok. No real bowel improvement, still uneasy and went to loo a good few times.

Took it again last night. Not such a good nights sleep, woke feeling dizzy and strange. Took a while to get back to sleep. I have to get up at 6am and I now feel gross. Dry mouth, dehydrated and spaced.

if I don’t see any real improvement with the bowel issues I don’t think I’ll continue with it. I don’t feel great at all and I need to be up and fresh to drive etc
