I struggle with anexity and they also say OCD and depression all come together I have two kids and I have tried counciling through nhs and didn't get on with it also had some counciling through my local children centre and had three session then she left but luckily found another councilor :) and meet up with her every week it helps talking and ranting to someone that doesn't know you was doing quite well until last weekend just everything getting on top of me so decided to go see doctor yesterday and they put me on anti depressants the sertraline meant to help with anxiety as well just worried about all side affects now :/ but I can't carry on feeling the way I do :/
Since my aniexity popped up again I have split up with my partner of three half years he got me through a lot of hard times and helped me out of a horrid relationship before and help me through everything to do with that , I feel bit lost don't know how to be myself anymore cause I've always had him to help me through hard places in the last few years and we've always got through together feel like I'm on my own through this don't get me wrong I have few friends that try there hardest to understand what I'm going through how I feel just not the same :/
Just want to here how people get through it or found anything that has helped

AnxietySertraline · 24/06/2016 19:20

Hope your little one sleeps well in your room tonight.

Clottedcreamqueen · 24/06/2016 19:31

Sorry to hear you've all been feeling anxious today. I woke up and felt very anxious after seeing the referendum result! Then I settled and had an ok day, but this evening the anxiety seems to have picked up a bit and I feel a little bit panicky (although not as bad as I have in the past). I always seem to get the evening come down. I wish I knew how I could get rid of it, the rest of the day (once the anxiety settled) went ok!

Clottedcreamqueen · 24/06/2016 19:33

Anxiety, I do work in an office. I hated it at first because there were so many people. I've been there just over a year now and although a lot of the time it stresses me out, sometimes I do start to enjoy it.

Stargirl82 · 24/06/2016 19:37

Thanks anxiety, it's tough going and I thought I had it all under control until gave birth to my little one 5 minute months ago and then oh lost his job. Sod's law!

Been reading lots on eu, esp on fb and I'm surprised the different views my friends have!

mummynatty · 24/06/2016 19:39

Thanks anexity :) I hope so too :) yeah same with evening clotted :/ maybe it's cause it's end of the day and start thinking about tomorrow :/ glad your day got better :)

I feel slightly better than I did earlier but still not great. Making a late dinner although really don't have much of an appetite.. also been obsessively googling alternative reasons for all my symptoms (e.g. thyroid problems, vitamin deficiencies, hormonal problems, heck I even started reading about early menopause and going OMG that sounds like me!! and scaring the crap out of myself). I seem to go through phases of this where I just can't accept that it's all being caused by stress, anxiety etc and start thinking that it's a physical problem and that the anxiousness is just a symptom.
Sorry to hear others have been feeling anxious :(
I'm also reading a lot about the referendum on FB but all the differing opinions and arguing are turning my brain into mush lol

AnxietySertraline · 24/06/2016 19:57

How many kids do you have Star?

AnxietySertraline · 24/06/2016 20:01

Lily I know my illness is anxiety but I still google and google trying to find answers... About WHEN I for sure will feel better... Just had to leave the living room watching a movie with my boyfriends children - as I felt too anxious to stay... Hate it Angry

AnxietySertraline · 24/06/2016 20:02

Clotted hope you can enjoy it more when Sertraline kicks in (hoping soon)...

AnxietySertraline · 24/06/2016 20:03

The votes (the result) are very close - as I understand it - almost 50/50...

AnxietySertraline · 24/06/2016 20:06

I really hope I have a better day tomorrow - as we are invited to MILs b-day with quite a lot of guests... I really want to go bc I know it is importent to MIL and also to my boyfriend (Living with him).

AnxietySertraline · 24/06/2016 20:07

MIL (though not married - but same same)... Star

LilacLilyPad · 24/06/2016 20:17

I hope you're feeling better for your MIL's bday Anxiety! Maybe simply the distraction of it all will help you take your mind off things and make you feel a bit less anxious :)

LilacLilyPad · 24/06/2016 20:22

What are you ladies doing this evening

Stargirl82 · 24/06/2016 20:26

2 anxiety, one of 5 months and the other is nearly 4. What about you?

It's certainly got everyone being politicians that's for sure. Shared this on my news feed earlier...,
