To give background, I have both ADHD and anxiety issues which mean I worry a lot about things. These can include whether people think I am stupid because of my very short attention span or employment issues because I am no good.
I am waiting for my NHS community mental health service to get back to me... I'm on a waiting list for CBT, but how can I make myself feel better?
Any information from those that have special needs/disabilities disclosed to their employer would be very useful.
Thanks so much

hi there, I was on antidepressants for 6 mths until recently (day 41 tablet free now). I have been seeing a life coach/counsellor and one of the first things she suggested I started to do was to make a note, at the end of every day, of something positive. I had to start every one with "I am grateful for....." and then whatever, whether seeing daffodils in bloom, hearing the birds, not getting stuck in traffic...anything really. it just makes you concentrate on positives and not the negatives. if you don't have anything at the end of day 1 just wait and think again at the end of day 2. trust me, it does work. hope that helps a little Smile xx
