unfurl a yoga mat, that will do the trick

PollyPooic · 14/02/2015 20:05

in case my calf doesn't get better enough in time for the marathon I'm going to start nurturing an obsession with weights

CaulkheadUpNorth · 14/02/2015 20:13

Like lifting weights?

PollyPooic · 14/02/2015 20:16

yes! finally did some with PT, I think I could build the ultimate physique

PollyPooic · 14/02/2015 20:19

it's her fault, she said I was genetically gifted for strength and endurance or something like that

actually I can't remember what she said, I might have imagined that it would be nice if she had said something like that

CaulkheadUpNorth · 14/02/2015 20:24

I have someone I vaguely know who does professional weight lifting and runs fitness stuff for other women who want to do that. There are competitions where you wear fake tan and walk up and down a lot.

PollyPooic · 14/02/2015 20:26

yikes, I don't fancy that

I just want to be the strongest person in the world

Millie2013 · 14/02/2015 20:35

Up, I hate the needy feeling too, but as Caulk says, our neediness justifies keeping people in jobs.
Besides, according to DT, neediness is terribly human :) And therefore good
We had our m&s meal :fat:, but I cheated and supplemented a main course. We haven't had dessert yet, as DD is still up and liable to stick her fingers in it!

Paul Morley is a twat.

Even when I agree with what he's saying he manages to say it in a way which pisses me off so much.

CaulkheadUpNorth · 14/02/2015 20:50

Do I know who he is?

Ennn · 14/02/2015 20:53

He turns up as a talking head on music documentaries. DP is watching a documentary about Kraftwerk.

brightandbreezyNot · 14/02/2015 20:56

Well it appears it has been a walking kind of day for everyone. Yes up it is ok to keep in contact with the service because it is keeping you safe.
Hope everyone else is having a good evening

Millie2013 · 14/02/2015 21:16

I'm in the middle of two conversations on Facebook; one about sex toys the other on breastfeeding (the latter is probably an argument, because the subject brings out so many sanctimonious mothers, that I can't help but get grrr. And I managed to BF)

CaulkheadUpNorth · 14/02/2015 21:25

It would be awkward to mix up the responses to those conversations.

Ennn · 14/02/2015 21:26

Make sure you don't post "actually I'm doing it right now" on the wrong discussion

Ennn · 14/02/2015 21:29

Dammot caulk got there first

Ennn · 14/02/2015 21:48

Gonna try and chill out before bed with a rum and coke and my enormous BSG backlog Grin what are my mentally normal chums doing this evening?

brightandbreezyNot · 14/02/2015 21:55

Watching casualty x

brightandbreezyNot · 14/02/2015 21:55

Watching casualty

Ennn · 14/02/2015 22:00

Ah a fellow TV watcher Grin

Have just remembered being at A&E with DP and the doctor asking me, before discharging dp with a box of injections, if I'd ever done injections before. I said, "well, yes, but only on a rat" Confused he goes "great! You'll have no trouble then" and shoves the box at me HmmGrin

CaulkheadUpNorth · 14/02/2015 22:06

Casualty here too. I love casualty a bit too much

PollyPooic · 14/02/2015 22:06

ate a packet of sugar free werther's original butter candies - probably counts as binge and laxative abuse in one?

am playing multipopword on eastoftheweb.com

I turn word games into a blood sport

Ennn · 14/02/2015 22:09

Do you play word feud Polly?

Ennn · 14/02/2015 22:10

Sugar free Werther's are narsty. Polyols don't caramelise so sugar alcohol butterscotch just tastes of caramel flavouring to me. Manky manky manky.
