I go to the walk in centre when my prescriptions run out, and I'm waiting to see psychiatrist. Just take the empty packet and proof it's you, like a letter from the cmht and they will give you a prescription for seven days worth.

do you have to actually see the psych for them to do a prescription? It's not a change of anything is if, just a repeat?

Me? I see a gp for prescriptions. Haven't seen a psychiatrist since December. We don't have walk in centres.

No walk in centres we have loads, although some have a different name, and I've forgotten what it is.

there isn't anything between gp and A&E - there was a minor injuries unit (15 miles away) but it closed

am thinking about emailing a therapist someone recommended to me ages ago but what if she also thinks I'm beyond the reach of her therapeutic grasp? and what do I say in the email anyway?

You'll never know unless you try. It's really unlikely they'll say that, but you need someone that you click with. lovely therapist is #7 I think.
