we had one knackered old horse when I was growing up, and were quite poor behind the school fees/cars whatever, there were too many of us (I have 3 brothers and 3 sisters) one of the older ones should have done a Jude The Obscure type thing on us younger ones

PollyPooic · 08/02/2015 14:55

well done Hell

is a fairly eternal dilemma for me - when should I make self do stuff and when is it not only permissible but therapeutic to retreat

PollyPooic · 08/02/2015 14:56

am so excited about walking to and around the little shop that I am still sitting here savouring the anticipation and typing shit instead of getting ready

Ennn · 08/02/2015 14:58

Tagine sounds lovely, I haven't made one in ages. Enjoy your trip round the supermarket.

Thanks Basket. Is that a occupational-therapeutically-ooccupational-therapeutically-woven handbasket, or just a commercial mass produced hand basket?

and wtfactually is a hand basket

Why does android sometimes insist on duplicating words when it "corrects" them?

HellinaHandbasket · 08/02/2015 15:12

Mass produced tat. No point going to hell in something fancy.

UpOnDown · 08/02/2015 15:25

I was going to offer my basketweaving skills.

Ennn · 08/02/2015 15:34

all this time (with the goal of fulfilling this new name) I've been logging 35g portions of prunes when in fact the packet is 30g

CaulkheadUpNorth · 08/02/2015 16:13

So I went for a walk, got stuck in a field, covered in mud etc BUT I found this horse.

was very productive shopping trip anyway

#1 is working late Hmm so won't be coming for supper after all which is not a bad thing because nobody else wants pasta anyway

I thought of lots of other delicious things to make in the jars, you could make a kind of caramel shortbread cheesecake type thing with the biscuit base, some mascarpone whisked with caster sugar and you could slightly-a-bit stir some gloopy caramel (from the carnation can) into that, and then molten choc on top and repeat the layers until full and it would set in the fridge?

PollyPooic · 08/02/2015 16:15

ahhhhhhhhh hello horse! what a bright white face you have :)

HellinaHandbasket · 08/02/2015 16:26

Nice horse. Not quite as pretty as mine Wink

PollyPooic · 08/02/2015 16:41

sssh horse might HEAR you

they all have their own charm

CaulkheadUpNorth · 08/02/2015 16:41

There were lots of horses in the field but this was the only one who came over to see me. He had a short attention span though, as kept forgetting I had no food for him and would sniff me, turn round and come back. But very lovely and let me stroke him.

CaulkheadUpNorth · 08/02/2015 16:43

He was very muddy. Why would he be so muddy? His head and hair especially were muddy and had grass in.
