What time's the interview?

EnpoTree · 20/11/2014 00:06

(Didn't actually end up going in that time, but it stuck in my head. Your experience is far worse, Ivy - it must've been so scary.)

Ivytheterrible · 20/11/2014 00:10

Yes but I guess it did save my life!

Interview at 9.30 can't sleep but must try... Night.

EnpoTree · 20/11/2014 00:15

Yeah, that's the other side of it, I guess.

I hope you get some sleep and good luck. I'll cross my fingers for you Smile

Hello

EnpoTree · 20/11/2014 10:21

Sorry, I was attempting to sleep more.

EnpoTree · 20/11/2014 10:29

What makes you worry about your cognitive function Mitch?

Mitchy1nge · 20/11/2014 10:35

someone assessed me

briefly

did not do v well at all in verbal fluency, short term memory and attention

cannot even be pissed off because I ASKED for professional opinion

(sleep sounds very tempting)

less depressingly someone has asked me to do day 3 or 4 of this which is much nicer to think about than whether my brain really is eating itself, or if it is a tumour or whatever

(day 3 or 4 of the quad)

Flowers I can we why that would freak you out, but just be careful with the B vits - they can have some odd side-effects in high doses. Did the person mention at all why you might have performed worse than you expected?

EnpoTree · 20/11/2014 10:44

Well that looks terrifying to me.

Mitchy1nge · 20/11/2014 10:45

they think my brain is eating itself

I once got MMSEd when depressed and answered every question with "I don't know" and crying. I only know because it's in my notes - I don't remember it at all. Presumably there's a lot of reasons why someone might struggle with aspects of cognitive function from time to time?

EnpoTree · 20/11/2014 10:48

I don't know what you mean by eating itself but that does sound a bit shitty. Sorry.

EnpoTree · 20/11/2014 10:49

How long til the run you linked to?

Mitchy1nge · 20/11/2014 11:13

July

so lots of time to get fit and well

DP is haring round the whole house turning it upside down and covering every surface in even more crap from every other surface, looking for a remote control, and taking deep offence that I can't handle being in the same room as all the upheaval, especially since when he's like this it's a constant stream of sighing and swearing and finger snapping and I just can't cope with the anxiety it's provoking.

Mitchy1nge · 20/11/2014 11:39

it doesn't sound the most relaxing environment you could be in

(I thought I could go back to bed for a bit but am enduring a bit of teenage mutant turtle, just for long enough to regret buying a streaming device prompted by your smart TV chat)
