Sorry to hear you're still feeling low, NanaNina. Keep bailing out that shit Sad

Mentalpsychiatrist · 19/11/2014 15:56

Home again and facing a massive pile of laundry. We shopped till we dropped and ate and drank rings around ourselves. I love New York. I also appear not to be high coming off an overnight flight and dealing with time zone changes. It could still go horribly wrong but it looks ok for now.

EnpoTree · 19/11/2014 18:10

Fantastic Smile Hope you stay nicely stably mooded and that the laundry fairy visits in the night Grin

KeemaNaanAndCurryOn · 19/11/2014 18:19

Oh Nana that's funny. What we wear on xmas day is PJs until we decide that we'd better get dressed and then just whatever takes our fancy.

The depression, not so funny. I'm on a bit of a hyper at the moment. I'm waiting for the crash.

I don't own any tartan

Oh lord, I'm high as a fucking kite. I'm going to have to hit the benzos tonight if I want to come down off the ceiling.

EnpoTree · 19/11/2014 21:20

At least you got your diazepam prescription, I suppose.

Do you find it helps? I know I went very odd on benzos when I was feeling high recently.

EnpoTree · 19/11/2014 21:27

Anyway I hope you feel calmer soon, Keema Flowers

EnpoTree · 19/11/2014 22:06

Does anyone like short films? I found this one while browsing Vimeo.

Ivytheterrible · 19/11/2014 22:16

Hello. Lurker checking in.

High as a kite also which is good as I have a job interview tomorrow am so I should ace it. But bad as have CMHT assessment in the afternoon and need to be as normal as possible in case they try to lock me up such fun!

Ivytheterrible · 19/11/2014 22:17

And I have no benzos as dr said no.

EnpoTree · 19/11/2014 22:20

Hi Ivy - good luck with your interview Smile

(And your appointment of course.)

Ivytheterrible · 19/11/2014 22:23

Thanks enpo.

My phone autocorrects you to empowered. Is this a sign?

Ivytheterrible · 19/11/2014 22:24

Sign spotting is a BAD thing I think.

EnpoTree · 19/11/2014 22:45

Unless you're driving a car, that is.

EnpoTree · 19/11/2014 22:47

It was supposed to be a play on "entropy". I have no idea why I picked it.

Ivytheterrible · 19/11/2014 23:02

Chaos rules.
I hate the pressure of picking a user name.

Ivytheterrible · 19/11/2014 23:04

Wondering what appt will be like tomorrow. Just been moved onto CMHT from specialist perinatal team. I'm going to hate them aren't I?

EnpoTree · 19/11/2014 23:06

It's such a shame. I had a lovely theme going for usernames in a previois incarnation. I would never have wanted for usernames again had I kept it.

EnpoTree · 19/11/2014 23:07

I hope it goes well Ivy. I've met some lovely people working at CMHTs.

EnpoTree · 19/11/2014 23:11

What's your experience been Ivy?

Ivytheterrible · 19/11/2014 23:12

But I loved my perinatal psych and cpn but now they've left me. Think I have transference issues.

Ivytheterrible · 19/11/2014 23:15

Good so far apart from when they force you into hospital in dubious ways.

EnpoTree · 19/11/2014 23:32

Ah. Yes, that sounds unpleasant Sad Did they use the "go in voluntarily or we'll make you go in involuntarily" trick?

Ivytheterrible · 19/11/2014 23:41

Yep. The casual dropping of the word section into conversations...

Only found out later that they aren't allowed to use it as a threat. Hmm

EnpoTree · 19/11/2014 23:50

Sounds stressful Ivy Sad And dubious, like you say. I had it hinted that I wouldn't want a section on my records, whatever that means, not realising the extra protections and help you get if you're a formal patient. But that was years ago. Can't believe they're still doing it.
