I think that covers us all?

Hope you enjoyed it.

Mentalpsychiatrist · 09/11/2014 16:38

It was a lovely day for a walk. I feel invigorated by the fresh air. Now home with the fire lit and a chicken ready for the oven.

What have you been up to?

EnpoTree · 09/11/2014 16:43

Oh good, sounds fun. Chicken is great, very Sundayey.

I walked to Sainsbury's to buy reduced cake for DP and large quantities of nuts for me before they shut, to avoid having to listen to the F1 he watches. Then I cake back. Then made cups of tea for the builders.

Great heaving lumps of joy.

Is the rendering getting done?

EnpoTree · 09/11/2014 16:56

Yes, praise sweet Mithras.

EnpoTree · 09/11/2014 16:57

Once they put a tarp up to shield the delicate render from the vicious November sun.

EnpoTree · 09/11/2014 17:00

They've just knocked off for the day. Nearly finished, apparently. It just needs rubbing down Hmm Perhaps it would like an apple too.

Mentalpsychiatrist · 09/11/2014 17:01

I'm amazed you've found builders that work on a Sunday. They must be a special breed.

EnpoTree · 09/11/2014 17:03

It's odd, isn't it? Apparently the weather was just right Hmm

Mentalpsychiatrist · 09/11/2014 17:05

Render can clearly only be applied in watery sunlight. Who knew.

EnpoTree · 09/11/2014 17:06

Yup. Previous days have been too hot, too cold, too sunny, too rainy, too windy, and followed by a frosty night, all of which are apparently the enemies of render.

Mentalpsychiatrist · 09/11/2014 17:15

Render is clearly a fickle beast

I very jealous of your cake purchases. I would love a piece of cake but crappy village shop is closed. Will have to make do with biscuits. Should have had a lunch.

EnpoTree · 09/11/2014 17:28

Gin doesn't count?

Mentalpsychiatrist · 09/11/2014 17:32

Gin made me hungry and I resisted the crisps in the pub. This bloody chicken can't roast quickly enough for my hunger.

EnpoTree · 09/11/2014 17:33

What's a bit of campylobacter to a hungry person, eh?

EnpoTree · 09/11/2014 17:37

I've just been told that we are having veal burgers for dinner Hmm

Mentalpsychiatrist · 09/11/2014 17:39

Veal burgers? Get you fancy pants. Sounds delicious.

Mitchy1nge · 09/11/2014 17:42

enrolling in the hungry club, last night's dinner thoroughly used up by now

daughter is making beef and bean (crunchy) tacos

EnpoTree · 09/11/2014 17:42

He saw some veal mince the other day and bought it without planning what to do with it. Normally he makes burgers from scratch (i.e. meat lumps). I think it counts as a hobby.

Mitchy1nge · 09/11/2014 17:43

Oh thought that said real burgers

no idea where glasses are

EnpoTree · 09/11/2014 17:43

I shouldn't be eating today but DP would be upset if I turned down his dinner.

EnpoTree · 09/11/2014 17:44

Do you always share dinner duties in your house Mitchy?

Mitchy1nge · 09/11/2014 17:53

we usually cook independently of one another for ourselves, but try to eat together

we swim against a powerful tide of dysfunction in this area but it's good if we can eat the same thing sometimes

Mitchy1nge · 09/11/2014 17:54
