I think that covers us all?

he loved being clipped

is amazing to me, brown horse needs vet throughout and v heavy sedation (which he fights) as terrified of clippers and will still try to rear even when it is unsafe to give him any more dope and you can't get very far up his neck so it's usually a bit of a mess in that area

is v distressing to see, have to pay someone to do it, cannot bear it

but fat little annoying pony is so relaxed, you can even clip his face and he just lets you Shock

sunshine and gin sounds ideal Sunday afternoon entertainment!

I don't know how people cope with alcohol on consecutive days ShockGrin I would just vomit everywhere.

Mitchy1nge · 09/11/2014 13:21

all my friends seem to drink heavily, even the very athletic ones

I can happily drink heavily (or could until the diabetes - since the diagnosis the most I've drunk has been a shot of rum to attempt to get rid of horrible agitation on clonazepam). Just not on consecutive days. I can't even drink the day after I've had one drink with dinner. My mouth just closes up and goes "nope".

EnpoTree · 09/11/2014 13:27

Not literally.

EnpoTree · 09/11/2014 13:32

If I were a horse I'd be terrified of clippers.

EnpoTree · 09/11/2014 13:33

You know, I totally forgot to take that pregabalin last night. And this morning. Arse.

Mentalpsychiatrist · 09/11/2014 13:40

You can take it now if you have a mind to.

A gin and tonic is the hangover cure in this house, never fails.

EnpoTree · 09/11/2014 13:45

Oh no it is far to late to take it now Grin

Every time it's a new decision process whether or not to take medication; bloody exhausting. Easier to just decide the time has passed I guess.

Lidl non-diet tonic water is supposed to be very nice. DP hates artificial sweeteners and it has none, unlike most non-diet tonic brands.

BTW Mitchy how is your calf?

EnpoTree · 09/11/2014 13:48

Besides, my pulse is still really slow and I'm not keen on the whole feeling-like-it's-about-to-grind-to-a-halt sensation.

Mentalpsychiatrist · 09/11/2014 13:50

I can imagine that's a very unpleasant sensation.

EnpoTree · 09/11/2014 13:51

My perfect G + T: 2cm Greenalls or Bombay Original, 5-6cm tonic water, teaspoon or so lime juice.

EnpoTree · 09/11/2014 13:54

My dad is unimpressed that I've managed to find another unusual side-effect and not to get much benefit. Tells me how wonderful his patients have found it. Fuck 'em.

Mitchy1nge · 09/11/2014 13:54

have resting heart rate of corpse (distance running)

calf is ok so far thanks enpo, was a comfortable pace and distance for it but am sure it reserves the right to wake me up with its thoughts in the middle of the night tonight if it didn't enjoy that last 'hill'

Mine is tanqueray 10, fever tree tonic water and a slice of lime. Pub only does regular tanqueray so that'll have to do.

EnpoTree · 09/11/2014 13:56

I'm overweight and don't exercise much. Current rate of 47 definitely not right Grin

Do you know what is actually wrong with calf?

EnpoTree · 09/11/2014 13:56

Fever tree is lovely.

EnpoTree · 09/11/2014 13:57

Nice to see another lime fan out there.

Mitchy1nge · 09/11/2014 14:08

strained it last year (grade 2 which is really not the horror I make it out to be!) simple overuse

and many accompanying overuse and compensatory injuries

half marathon at end of month then am dedicating self to some hardcore rehabilitative stuff with a trainer and reduce weekly miles then come back as the strongest and fastest middle aged chain smoking mentalist around

Not even sure if my local pub has anything other than Gordon's Hmm

EnpoTree · 09/11/2014 14:10

Sounds like a plan Mitch.

Mitchy1nge · 09/11/2014 14:16

Your nasal septum thanks you.

Brain on constant "hate self wish dead hate self wish dead hate self wish dead" loop. Fed up with it.
