Err, we need a new thread guys - I know this is Vicar's job so i hope you like the name.

This thread is a support group for those with mental health issues and generally feeling crap, some of us are on medication, some of us have help.

So come on in, grab a stool at the pub, the fires warm and the welcome is warmer - stay a while or move right on in!

All welcome

Ha! im not very good at this!

Thanks dd I think I spoke to soon. Have been very unsettled this pm and am now partaking of some Wine Hmm. More info about the being left out evening has just made me more paranoid - have they practised their story or was it actually organised by someone else. Can't believe I just wrote that Blush. It was a lot of her talking. And you're absolutely right about you lovely MN people Grin

Are you still feeling weird? I find anxiety makes me feel weirdest. Jealous of the ice cream tho - I have massive chocolate cravings tonight too.... Hope dc in bed and you're relaxing now.

(((hugs))) lem sorry to hear about your pits dm. I know what you mean too about the helping with the crafty stuff - you get to a line don't you and I have to struggle not to "just do it yourself!" outlous Wink

[khimaira] your story about dd stopping crying when she got in brought back memories - they can be monkeys like that can't they. I hope they carried on playing nicely.

Hi Lollipop good for you for going for the counselling. ime is has helped a lot. What do you need to actually say in your email?

SnowyMouse · 20/02/2014 20:26

(((( all ))))

ColouringInQueen · 20/02/2014 20:34

snowy how are you doing this evening. I have gone from winter Olympics back to greys anatomy Wink x

LollipopViolet · 20/02/2014 20:40

Just sent the email - this is the beginning of something, I feel. Hopefully something good.

SnowyMouse · 20/02/2014 20:56

I'm soso, just browsing mumsnet for some distraction! I never got into grey's anatomy.
Good luck Violet

DumDum32 · 20/02/2014 21:14

((( all ))) it's been a trying day for most of us :( DD is still awake so I'm still awake.

lem sorry about ur mum :(

khim kids soooo do that with the crying it's not just u, mine is exactly the same cries to go out then once put cries to get back home - I usually wanna scream at that point!

voilet well done for taking the first step & good luck :)

ciq I'm sure the nasty people have not made up anything they sound too dumb for that! We love u here so they can just all get lost

ColouringInQueen · 20/02/2014 21:16

night dd

snowy The Good Wife? Wow I sound like a real telly addict Wink

SnowyMouse · 20/02/2014 21:25

Night DD and all.

I'll have a look, not heard of that one CIQ, thanks.

Khimaira · 20/02/2014 21:31

Well, DD is clearly ill :( She has coughed non stop since I put her to bed and each cough is followed by an anguished "ow, owwwwa, ow" so I am going to take her to the doctor tomorrow. She also threw up at the dinner table as she was coughing so hard. I think I'm going to put her cot in my room tonight. DH shouted at her yesterday and called her a piece of shit for throwing up :( My fault I suppose because I asked him to come and sit with her whilst I stripped her bed and remade it. I should have just got on with it, but she looked so miserable I didn't want to leave her alone in the bathroom.

Good night DD

Well done for sending the mail Violet

Wine sounds good CiQ I'd love a bottle right now! But I daren't as I get so sleepy and as I'm always the one who has to get up in the night I never have more than a glass at a time. Also, I'm sure it plays with my mind!

I'm a bit worried, my counsellor is away at the moment (for a month) and he told me to email him when I felt like it. He's been away two weeks now and has just emailed me to say he now has an internet connection and will read my emails and answer me tomorrow. I'm quite scared. Which I know is stupid.

SnowyMouse · 20/02/2014 21:40

Poor dd khimaira Sad I hope she feels better soon and you don't catch it. I'm sure your counsellor will respond professionally, try not to worry.

I am really going to bed now.

ColouringInQueen · 20/02/2014 23:00

khimaira really hope your dd improves. Its not unusual for kids to be sick when they have a bad cough but good idea to take her to the gp.

I could do with a day of tv and chocolate I think and not having to engage with people and work out all their agendaS. I'm assuming because I can recognise I might be paranoid means I'm not. But where does it leave me? Grrr

Khimaira · 21/02/2014 04:31

Never even considered I might get it, just hoping DH doesn't!

Tv and chocolate, no people..sound wonderful. It's what I'm planning once I've navigated the horror of having to go to the doctor. (I'm always worried in case I say the wrong thing.) No idea about whether or not you can be paranoid and know you are.

LollipopViolet · 21/02/2014 09:02

Ok, wow. Had an email back from college already. They have an appointment available on Monday at 2.

That happened a bit quicker than I thought it would!

DumDum32 · 21/02/2014 10:23

Morning all,

khim hope ur DD is feeling better & DH being pleasant rather then horrid.

voilet that was quick but the sooner u get it done the better it'll be :)

ciq TV & chocolate it will be today for me possibly too.... I can't deal with anyone except DD in RL right now.
Re paranoia - I thought if u knew u were being paranoid then u actually were & nothing sinister was happening IYKWIM! I could be wrong but that's how I've always looked at it.

I have an appointment later which I would love to miss but unfortunately have to go to :( got a letter to write to job centre too but can't find the mojo to do it. If I succeed I'm even one task I'll b happy!

Hope everyone is having a good morning.... Will check in later.... Much love too all x

SnowyMouse · 21/02/2014 19:54

How's everyone doing now? I'm wondering how to get through the weekend Hmm

LEMmingaround · 21/02/2014 19:58

Hello everyone - good day today, lovely day with friend, more drama with my mother - think i may need some Wine for the weekend!

SnowyMouse · 21/02/2014 20:22

Enjoy the wine LEM

ColouringInQueen · 21/02/2014 20:50

Hi all

snowy would it help to think about a structure for sat or is it better just taking things hour by hour?

Glad you had a good day and enjoy the Wine

Anxiety has been v challenging today - tho I have realised that hormones will be playing a part, so am not freaking out. Met up with a lovely friend and had a good afternoon but all the kids were manic! But I did manage to ask for 10 mins quiet which helped.

ColouringInQueen · 21/02/2014 20:52

Second line for lem!

SnowyMouse · 22/02/2014 12:31

I'm taking things hour by hour, just started my monthly which is usually fairly horrendous.

Sorry you had a challenging day (((( CIQ ))))

SnowyMouse · 22/02/2014 17:17

What's everyone having for tea? I'm having egg fried rice (freezer) and breaded chicken (also freezer).

I'm trying to distract myself Hmm

TemperamentalAroundCorvids · 22/02/2014 18:06

Crispy oven-baked duck legs. First time I've tried it - recipe was on packet, packet was out of freezer and was one of my supermarket marked down bargains. (One of the nice things about still living in house once lived in by 4 adults is that freezer is large enough for me to pounce on food bargains.)

SnowyMouse · 22/02/2014 18:29

Sounds yummy TAC

DumDum32 · 22/02/2014 19:57

Watching the voice & I'm in tears :(

DumDum32 · 22/02/2014 20:06

Sounds yummy snowy & TAC
