Err, we need a new thread guys - I know this is Vicar's job so i hope you like the name.

This thread is a support group for those with mental health issues and generally feeling crap, some of us are on medication, some of us have help.

So come on in, grab a stool at the pub, the fires warm and the welcome is warmer - stay a while or move right on in!

All welcome

Ha! im not very good at this!

Trueworrier - i could have written your post a while ago. Please PM me if you want any financial advice. Are you absolutely SURE you have to sell your house? We thought we were going to have to do that but managed to avoid it. We got help with our debts and it changed everythng. I am more than happy to share my experience if you would like.

Absolutely normal to have bad days with the SSRIs, especially at the start, but i can't think of many things more stressful than money worries, so don't beat yourself up re the anxiety - i know how awful and horrible it is. You can get through this.

I'm struggling Sad Voices telling me to hurt myself, clozapine has been increased, but I can't take the increased dose as I'm waiting for a plumber some time in the next 3 days.

LEMmingaround · 17/01/2014 18:52

Oh snowy, im sorry about the voices

SnowyMouse · 17/01/2014 20:31

At least I can take the full dose of meds over the weekend, the plumber wont come until next week now.

I hope it's not too difficult to catch up, LEM, take it step by step.

SnowyMouse · 18/01/2014 18:37

How's everyone doing?

LollipopViolet · 18/01/2014 22:53

I'm struggling.

After hitting my 2 stone weight loss point, I've had 3 days of binge eating for no logical reason. I ALWAYS do this after hitting a milestone, and I've no idea why! Still, I've recognised that's what's happened, tomorrow is a new day etc.

I've had a few really good days in terms of things happening to me/for me but I just feel like I'm existing - I feel happy at first when something good happens but it fades quickly and then I'm just back to the status quo of floating through life. I'm sure it's these dark nights/mornings - I'm better in the sunshine! Can I move somewhere sunny, please?!

DumDum32 · 19/01/2014 11:00

Struggling too :(

LollipopViolet · 19/01/2014 12:22

Must be something in the air, DD32 - not nice, is it? :(

Feeling a bit better today, sent off another job application and have decided to get in touch with a company after they called me on Friday - I submitted an application for a freelance post and they want to chat, if it sounds like something I'm interested in.

SnowyMouse · 19/01/2014 13:48

Sorry you're struggling Lollipop and DD32 Sad Good luck with the job application, I hope it goes well.

SnowyMouse · 19/01/2014 15:48

Pizza time, half pepperoni, half veggie. Good distraction.

LEMmingaround · 19/01/2014 16:19

Good pizza snowy I do half and half meateor and veggie

DumDum32 · 19/01/2014 19:16

Hmmm pizza sounds good snowy I can only have vegetarian.

Glad it's night can take my meds & go to sleep.... Gud nyt all

SnowyMouse · 19/01/2014 19:36

Good night DD32 I've taken my meds early, I want to see if I'll be less sleepy in the morning if I do this.

SnowyMouse · 19/01/2014 19:44

I've just emailed the samaritans.

DumDum32 · 19/01/2014 20:27

Oh snowy hope they help... Have to say they did help me a whole ago but I was texting them as emails can take some time! Not sure if texting is available to u?

LollipopViolet · 19/01/2014 22:41

Snowy I've emailed the Samaritans a few times, they've always been lovely. I'm actually feeling really down tonight, even after a great night with friends, so am going to text them - I just need someone to talk things through with really.

Fed up of feeling like this, this year has been going great so far, and yet I can't seem to enjoy it.

DumDum32 · 20/01/2014 10:32

lem I was hoping for a better start to new year thinking it can't be any worse then last year but all the things from last year are still around & I'm sinking deeper everyday! I can't feel anything at the moment just numbness! Just text the Samaritans myself as I really could do with talking it through & not SH myself! Sorry if this triggers anyone don't mean too!

TheSparklyPussycat · 20/01/2014 11:07

Hugs to all. Hang in there - the days are getting longer, the sun is getting stronger...

(Mind you, the number of times I've spent most of February in bed...it used to be a v bad time of year for me. I had to teach myself to notice days lengthening, and to listen for the start of bird song, which helped)

DumDum32 · 20/01/2014 15:50

Just saw my cpn said I should be in hospital I declined because of DD (no one to look after her) they're going to contact social services to get more nursery time so I can cope better in the meantime I'm a bit scared now. What if they take DD away??? :( bricking it :( :( :(

SnowyMouse · 20/01/2014 16:31

If they were going to take away DD they wouldn't have said about more nursery time (((( DD32 ))))

Get all the support you can.

The voices made me tie a ligature today Sad

LollipopViolet · 20/01/2014 16:41

(((Snowy ))) is there anyone you can talk to for some support?

(((DD32 ))) agree, they wouldn't be talking about more nursery time of they were going to take your DD.

I've just turned and ran from a really promising sounding job, because there's just too much risk. I'm not a qualified teacher, yet they want me to lead after school photography courses with no training other than a lesson plan, and no other support staff around? I think not, it's too risky, only takes one 15 year old to accuse me of something then I'm in deep trouble.

Feeling better than yesterday though, even with that down point.

DumDum32 · 21/01/2014 11:58

Woken up today but still numb :(

snowy hugs & hope u got through last nyt ok n today is a better day!

voilet spunds like U should have walked away from that job must have been hard though when u really want to work so well done. Hope today is better for u!

Thanku both reading ur comments re DD helped sometimes I look for approval in my own thinking if that makes sense.

Got social coming tomorrow!!!

SnowyMouse · 21/01/2014 12:30

I'll talk to my CPN today if I can. I hope you're feeling better today again too, Violet.

Good luck for tomorrow, DD32
