time to get back into fasting and ignore it’s the summer holidays!

yes I only trust my own scales too!

I honestly think some people just have less of a drive to eat / get less hungry / can tolerate being hungry more. I eat plenty of protein try hit my fibre goals but I have a sweet tooth enjoy socialising and when I get hungry I get so angry and ravenous! My husband who is super skinny can just miss meals and not realise / say “oh I forgot lunch today I was so busy”. I just can’t! I think being overweight (aware I’m not now) is complex and genetics personality and how we handle food and hunger play such a role we don’t fully understand yet. I just have a very high drive to eat and love food! I’m finding it so hard to maintain this weight!!!! And I’m hardly skinny! I’m just ok now when I look in mirror…

anyways weighed today I’m still 9.11 despite a week of 1200 ish and workouts. Will keep going!

@Smartmove no sugar good. I never find it too hard in the week. It's the weekend that will be the real test. But feel like I need a good weekend to feel better and back to normal! Totally get you about the 'food noise' it's constant isn't in. The only thing that helps is the no sugar as helps reduce cravings but kind of creates it's own food noise! Don't know what I'd think about if this came easy!!

I am joining you on the good weekend planned. I have had a lot of indulgence and I don’t even feel like I need any this weekend. I’ve felt quite bloated all week. Back has eased so may get some exercise in over the weekend.

Batteries in scales tell me I’m 11:3:00 today. Would love anything over 3lb off by next Friday to get back in the 10’s but I just don’t lose that quickly, so will aim for one pound at a time!

I’ve had a good week
ive not stayed away from sugar but I’ve managed to just keep it a small thing!!!!
im feeling better and have nothing planned this weekend so I’m hoping I start next Monday at 9.10 where I intend to stay or maybe drop one more before Xmas things begin again

will workout today and stick to 1200 cals which seems to work for me to stick to. I didn’t fast yest as I got hungry at 8pm! And hungry again now

Still haven’t seen a 10 😭😭 am away this weekend but have absolutely decided I’m getting on the treadmill next week. Saw some photos of me back in my running days and I want to look like that again.

U have been so good @WorthySloth keep going! Once the first initial bit comes off it gets tougher and tougher. But then that’s when u have to stay more consistent and more focussed.
running sounds like a fab idea!

I’ve had cake today but it’s ok as only a slice and prob eating maintence this weekend but with workouts. I think that’s the most I can expect from weekends !

Good weekend so far! No sugar still going strong. Lots of running. Struggling to fit gym in at the moment, but lots of walking and running. Just annoying that strength training is so important!!

It’s hard to fit it all in @Bubbles44 i think as long as we do exercise often we winning! I do more strength than cardio and worry I’m not doing enough for my heart!

weekend been ok. Feeling a bit meh today so have had more sugar than I planned but I think it’s all in maintence…weigh in tmrw

Back home now. I’ve drunk far too much but tbh haven’t eaten loads… one big meal each day and no drunken chips because I couldn’t find a chippy 🤣🤣 will weigh in and see the damage in the morning and reset. Have a night away with my daughter week after next and then 3 nights away with my husband the week before Christmas. Wonder if I can get into the 10’s by then?

Weighed in. 11:2.8. Not as bad as I feared. Currently dropping kids here there and everywhere but I am in my running kit to do a short run later before I have to go to the doctors for a smear test.

Well done on all the exercise @Smartmoveand @Bubbles44 - I am not really doing strength or cardio at the moment but that has to change this week! I’m going to say three workouts in any form I choose as long as it’s done. Go by mood so I actually do the workout then try to build some structure around my workouts once I am back in the habit.

@WorthySloth Hope you had a lovely time away and that sounds like a win on the scales! Could see a 10 before the end of the month?

I am 11:4:1 today so a pound on over the weekend. No alcohol and no takeaway. But no exercise and a couple of cakes / chocolate things.

There is no reason why I can’t have a great week this week. Let’s go!

Just done short treadmill run about 1.5 miles. Did 30 seconds walking and 30 seconds running so it’s a sort of HIIT workout. Could have done longer but I need a good scrub before I show a nurse my nether regions 🤣🤣

That’s sounds like a good workout, it breaks it up a bit doing intervals. I didn’t exercise yesterday. Have plans this evening so probably won’t get a chance today. Will try again tomorrow!

11:4:1 again. If I hadn’t weighed I would have thought I’d lost so either my bloatedness is going down or I am getting used this weight!

Weighed in this morning at 11:1.8 so 1lb down. Went for a 3.5 mile walk with my running group last night which was nice so decided against running this morning.

off to get my nails done at 9am so I’ll walk the long way round to get home then I need to vacuum downstairs and clean my kitchen floor so I’ll count that as exercise 🤣🤣

well done for the runs @WorthySloth i think adding in more movement will def help push u into ten! Over time it helps I think . My maintence calories are much less now I’m a stone lighter than last year and it’s hard to eat that little some days but think adding in exercise has meant I can eat a little more (not loads but just not starving all day!)

im 9.10.5 so nearly 9.10! Aim to be there sat am!
just had egg white omelette…

I’ve just eaten a huge amount of cake and feeling so so guilty :( why do I do this it’s like I’m trying my body to see what gain I’ll have ?! Whenever I get back close down I do this weird behaviour!!!!!!!

so I’m following u @Bubbles44 NO SUGAR!!!!!! Not even dark chocolate. It begins tmrw and lasts a week. Bahhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!! So cross!!! (Also no gym today and only 5000 steps)

Went out for dinner tonight. Only had soft drink and no pudding. Would have been better to eat at home from a calorie and weight perspective but a midweek catch up with friends was worth it.

11:4:7 today - it’s up due to the mean yesterday which I still feel bloated from!

I know that I am doing this to myself but I am so fed up with my weight and my body at the moment.

Well done @Smartmove and good luck for no sugar! I did have a slice of cake on Monday as was family birthday so had planned to but wish I hadn't bothered as wasn't nice and made me feel rubbish! Good week although feel bloated!

At this rate I’ll now be happy with a maintain by tomorrow. 11:4:1 today so a pound above wheee I was last Friday. Really don’t want to see a gain as already feeling rather demotivated.

I have also noticed my stress score on Fitbit has reduced and the only thing different in my lifestyle at the moment is that I am not exercising and haven’t been for at least a month now. That changes today. I am going to the gym straight from work. I almost feel like the weight loss I want next Friday starts today.

@hollyblueivy i hope u make it to the gym! It’s really hard esp in this weather. Just don’t think about it and walk in. It’s not motivation it’s dedication I tell myself. I’m never motivated!
