L3 is actually quite enjoyable in a way. Sort of!

L3D8 finished. Can't believe I'm almost finished the whole thing.

monster54 · 17/08/2013 15:50

L2D2 done, bit sporadic with my shred at the mo. it felt better second time round.

I did have to pause it halfway to catch my breathe. Had a comment from a friend today on how much weight I'd lost.

When I haven't really since I last saw her I think it's the toning up! Anyway was nice to have the compliment!!!

L3D9 done!! One day more

TrucksAndDinosaurs · 18/08/2013 02:01

Well it turns out 32DD fit!
I have been flapping about in 38b bras.
I have loose skin but it'll take a few months to catch up with weightloss - meanwhile I can do press ups! I might get heavier weights than 5lb ones! I'm going to nail l3 then do 7 week 6 pack, and DH said I look better than I have for a decade! Yay the Shred - truly amazing and in twenty mins a day!!!

So chuffed.

TrucksAndDinosaurs · 18/08/2013 02:02

Go hairy potter!
What are your plans post Shred?

TrucksAndDinosaurs · 18/08/2013 02:04

Woo monster, belt it in then go shopping for waisted clothes!

wrigglebum · 18/08/2013 06:25

Wow, amazing results for you all. I can't wait to get back to it when I get home.

TrucksAndDinosaurs · 18/08/2013 17:18

Level 3 day 1! It's actually ok, more fun than level 2.
Rock star jumps a killer.

Mumblyboo · 18/08/2013 17:28

whats the general consensus on 5:2 when pregnant? i am overweight to begin with and always pack on weight when pregnant. I am the same that i weighed the day after i gave birth three years ago through anti depressants for anxiety. The thought of not exercising some kind of control when pregnant this time makes me feel stressed - can i do the fast diet?

TrucksAndDinosaurs · 18/08/2013 18:04

It's not recommended if you are pregnant.

TrucksAndDinosaurs · 19/08/2013 17:27

Level 3 day 2 FD and bought jeans!

monster54 · 21/08/2013 12:26

Wow well done tandd your piccies are amazing!!!

I am completely off par. Had some dramas at home and not slept very well. I last shredded Saturday.

Back on to it tonight. You piccies are so motivational. I am still fasting 4:3.

FD today....

TrucksAndDinosaurs · 21/08/2013 20:06

You can do it!
Just a thought - on other thread you mentioned stalling.
Are you eating enough on NFD? Especially protein and fat? Olive oil, nuts, avocados, oily fish?
All help with cell repair, cycle regulation and weight loss/ feeling satiated not bloated?

TrucksAndDinosaurs · 21/08/2013 20:06

Ps. Massive sympathies about crap sleep.
:(

TrucksAndDinosaurs · 21/08/2013 20:20

Level 3 day 5. I am logging it here as I get list with where I am otherwise.

monster54 · 21/08/2013 20:26

Lol same here tandd!!

L2D3 DONE!!!! Wow I find this level soooo hard but I like that its a bit more challenging.

Yes total stall ATM with loss. I've missed a period completely. First time this had happened in 6 months of fasting. Defo eating tdee on weekday and splurge weekend, fast mon, wed and thurs.

Will pick up some nuts. But have a well varied diet.

OP posts:
BetsyBell · 22/08/2013 09:27

Monster - sorry to hear you're having crap times Sad, I wonder if the missing period is partly due to stress? Well done for getting back on the Shred. I really like running for getting stress and stuff out my system - hopefully Shredding helps too. ((hugs))

I am child-free for a bit this morning, ever so slightly hungover and was thinking seriously about eating all my fast day calories as an egg-based breakfast (knowing full well that there's NO WAY I'd then not eat again until tomorrow morning).

I haven't shredded exactly but I did get up and go for a run, got home did some Jillian weights, crunches and squats and some yoga stretches instead. Been raining all night here so running was very humid and unpleasant so didn't manage as long or as far as usual - only about 3km running and another km walking briskly.

I'm off on holiday again (I know, lucky cow I am) next week so hopefully will pick up on Shred again when the new term starts. You guys will have finished by the time I get back to it I think!

TrucksAndDinosaurs · 22/08/2013 17:20

Ooh enjoy holiday!
Level 3 day 6 done, felt a bit nauseous after so swam very slowly and only did 10 lengths not usual 20.
Not sure if I'm going to make it fasting today: might eat lunch (it's 11.22am) but nothing really appeals.

wrigglebum · 22/08/2013 22:42

Well, L1D10 done so onto L2 for me now! This was the first time for nearly two weeks, and a FD but I felt ok.

Push ups and the lateral arm raises are still difficult, but apart from that I'm finding L1 ok and managing to be Natalie on a lot of the moves so I'm hoping I'll cope with L2 ok. I'll take it easy and start on low weights, if it's too difficult I'll go back to L1 and swap between them.

DS has finished nursery now so shredding will be evenings mostly now until he starts school. Going to make it harder to fit them in but I'll try and manage at least 3 times a week.

Sorry things aren't going so well monster, fingers crossed it all works out. Enjoy your holiday Betsy

TrucksAndDinosaurs · 23/08/2013 01:36

Well done wriggle
Level 2 is quite exciting after level one.
There is also nothing as hideous as lateral arm raises lies about chair squat with V-fly-
