I know! Planning to shred again today, so even closer there. Still some wobbles around the mid section, and inner thighs, but my arms and shoulders are looking nice.

I have the JM boxset, so I think I might mix it around with some Burn Fat Boost Metabolism, No More Trouble Zones and a few shred workouts across the various levels but trying to up the weights. Might try some Six Week Six Pack but that scares me as my abs are shite. Planks no problem but I can barely get through the Anita crunches etc in Shred. Plus a bit of hula hooping on days off- might look at some hula workouts too.

What are you working on Trucks?

TrucksAndDinosaurs · 28/09/2013 12:51

I'm doing 6 week 6 pack: it is amazing.
I really like it and the results are staggering.
I sometimes do l3 shred if pushed got time. Or yoga meltdown if its evening ( usually exercise fasting in the morning because I do 16:8 now not full fasts. After dropping DS at preschool.)

Jillian workouts really are effective aren't they?
I think I will try ripped next if I can get hold of a copy.

wrigglebum · 28/09/2013 20:03

I quite fancy trying the yoga meltdown too, I think it's on YouTube.

Well, another this morning so L3D6 done. Both boys were there and DS1 (4yo) was joining in and cheering me on- very sweet. The 17mo just giggled at me Smile.

wrigglebum · 28/09/2013 20:05

And yes, really effective. I recommend them to anyone who'll listen now but I don't think anyone has taken it on board yet. Ripped is supposed to be good.

LikeaHurricane · 29/09/2013 09:54

Hi all, I've been 5 2ing for 10 months now and have been using Jillian DVDs for years amongst others. I love the shred and ripped in 30 and I agree, six week six pack is amazing. I recently bought no more trouble zones and can highly recommend it. It has me sweating buckets and at about 50 minutes is manageable time wise. It really tones you up in that midsection.
You can find it on you tube but it's in separate sections so you have to set them up in seperate windows but it will give you a good idea before you buy. There isn't much cardio but believe me your heart rate will be through the roofSmile

wrigglebum · 30/09/2013 20:26

Hey Like, hope you're getting great results too!

L3D7 done, managing to do quite a few more of the advanced moves now.

Took ds2 swimming this morning and wore a bikini, felt pretty confident in it too. My tummy does need a bit more toning and there's still a bit of loose skin (not to mention the stretch marks I got in the last month of my second and final pregnancy), but not too bad at all.

wrigglebum · 02/10/2013 13:43

L3D8 done- 2 more and I'm finished!

wrigglebum · 04/10/2013 18:03

L3D9 done today so will be finished very soon! Will try and post some after pictures- just a shame I didn't do before pictures.

TrucksAndDinosaurs · 05/10/2013 01:18

Oh big well done you're staring at the finish line!
Want to join me in 6week 6 pack thread in exercise?
I'm going to have to restart after doing over half as I sprained 2 ribs rescuing DS from reversing car danger.
Physio should ok me to restart in 7-10 days...

wrigglebum · 05/10/2013 06:44

I think I will try that Trucks, I will probably start it early next week. Again, I won't do it every day like the plan but I'll try it as often as I can. I'm using my hula hoop too to help tone up my waist.

Sorry to hear about your ribs but at least DS is safe. It must have been so scary, well done on the rescue SuperMum Smile.

TrucksAndDinosaurs · 05/10/2013 22:45

Hopefully I can restart gently next week with light weights, back is much better.
It sounds more of an exciting rescue than it really was: basically he lay down and had a tantrum so I scooped him like a surfboard and he wriggled, wrenching my back, the silly clot.

So is tomorrow the final shred?
:)

wrigglebum · 06/10/2013 10:12

Done, done, done!!!!!!!!!!!

Dripping sweat now!

See you on the6w6p thread in a few days Grin.

wrigglebum · 06/10/2013 10:13

Ps- after pic on profile now (don't have any before pics).

TrucksAndDinosaurs · 06/10/2013 13:50

You are welcome to join but it's pretty quiet. I mainly used it to keep track of where I was. There's plenty more support on the main thread. In terms of dinners, I think there is a recipes thread. I use the Hairy Dieters cookbook too as there's lots of good stuff in there.

I'm 5"6' and 9st7 was my target, would 8st4 not be underweight for you? At first on shred my weight plateaued as there was a bit of muscle building going on, so that might be what has happened for you.
