Every Day. In London in August. Perfect for us as we can’t do Easter due to other commitments. Does anyone know how it works should they also get a musician offer - just a possibility?

@yodaforpresident we've had performer and musician in the same year before. They offered my DC two things that didn't clash.

Hope your DD is OK, sometimes I am amazed at how resiliant our young people can be whereas I am a complete wreck.

I haven’t told DD yet but she’ll be fine. A little disappointed naturally but they bounce back don’t they! Huge achievement and much fun had at the recalls anyway 🙂 This is why I always praise the effort and not the outcome.

Yes, they got offered Carmilla which is a residential in the summer. Perfect dates so they're really pleased.

'Invite only Skills course' here - is that the advanced skills course 🤷‍♀️ i'm really disappointed for her (havent told her yet!) - she SO enjoyed the New Musicals workshop audition and wanted to do it so much. Haven't looked at dates/ course yet - might not progress further with it this year.

At least for her first time (12yo) she got through to recall round and loved it!

Ah for sure! I am amazed at the talent and resiliance shown by all of our young people. I am pretty sure at 14 all I was doing was watching buffy and drinking tea 😂

DD got courses only, a bit disappointed and this is our first year and we just learn from experience. Proud of her anyway.

Anyone can share their experience for the skill courses? We were hoping for musical workshop but wonder if this is good to go too.

I know DD will be a little disappointed but simply because she's fallen in love with LB, still this is an amazing opportunity and would be fantastic experience... but... arghh... I need help! Can anyone shed light on put email? It seems to say it's both residential and nonresidential and I'm loathed to reply asking g for clarification as I'm sure they'll be inundated today!

No she was in for LB but as she is 14 I can totally see why they would put her in Flip as age wise it seems a better fit

Ah that makes sense! I was just trying to work out how it all works as there were recalls for the new musicals….

my dd was hoping for new musicals if she didn’t get tuck but she got advanced workshops - so was trying to work out if the new musicals were unlikely if you hadn’t be recalled for them…

Commiserations to any that are feeling disappointed - I hope the skills courses give you so much joy, because if they loved the audition days, they will love those! More variety than a workshop too!

DD been offered Everyday musical workshop in London in August. For those asking about skills workshops my DD has done 2, a residential and a non residential, she gained so much confidence and, personally I think it really helped her with her drama school auditions this year. I think working with the NYMT creatives in whatever way possible is worthwhile, their knowledge and experience really shines through and everyone seems to enjoy. She was a little disappointed last year when she was offered a non residential one, but had the best time and gained so much from it. Congrats to all DC offers, they all should be proud of themselves 👏🏻👏🏻

Congratulations to everyone who has heard back with an offer. My DS has been offered Everyday but in May ( didn't realise there was another one in August)? I have only just realised it is based on a film which I have actually watched with my daughter before 😂.
Also can anyone shed any light as to what the difference is that it is in association with a production company unlike the other workshops listed!?!

Looking forward to hearing everyone else's good news later on today.
