Running 9/10

Weights 7/10

Pilates 7/10

Cycling 10 / 10

Swimming 8/10

Team sports / ball sports - I don’t do these so can’t give a score

Sadly, I can't do any of them now due to ME/chronic fatigue syndrome.

I ran the London Marathon in October 2021 and did an Ironman70.3 triathlon in 2019 in Lanzarote.

Cycling depends where!
Swimming 7/10 if pool heated. 10/10 in warm sea. 1/10 in cold pool/lake/sea.
ball sports 10/10 badminton, squash, padel. Hate tennis.

Yoga or Pilates : I don't consider this exercise. I'd probably go back at least a few more times, if more convenient, to work on balance & flexibility.

Weights : I don't do it because I would expect to find it deathly dull and to give myself an RSI. I have a housemate who goes on about how wonderful muscle soreness after the gym is because it means he worked hard

Team sports / ball sports - I don’t do these because I'm terrible at them and not convenient, but can enjoy a lot (9/10) if it's just for fun

@lljkk i think you need to try Pilates again if you don’t consider it exercise!

ok I’ll start with the caveat that I hate exercising - for me the best bit is stopping. I do it anyway so I’m scoring on that basis.

running: 10/10. My go-to exercise.

Weights 9/10 - really getting into this. I have PT at 8am

Pilates / yoga 7/10 it’s hard and my Flexibility is awful. So that’s why I’m trying to do more

Cycling 5/10 and thats Only if it’s flat.

Swimming 2/10 I hate all the changing, hair drying palaver.

Team sports / ball sports. No idea. Not played for years.

Running 10, especially trails
Weights 7 - it's all the faffing and waiting around that bores me, plus gyms aren't pretty!
Pilates 2 - experience is a bit meh plus I need to modify so many exercises to avoid bending my upper spine it seems a bit pointless.
Cycling 10 - love a good ride out in the national park on a sunny day plus it's great for transport.
Swimming 5 - really not my strong point and pools are boring despite pool headphones, open water is more fun but harder to get to.
Ball/team sports 1 - I have no hand-eye coordination so really struggle and hate letting my team down.

Weights 3/10-wish I could learn to love them-I just seem to have an aversion. I like classes at the gym though

Pilates 2/10-tried once-boring

Cycling 8/10-love it but crap at bike maintenance

Swimming 6/10-hate getting changed and using grotty changing rooms

Team sports / ball sports - 7/10

Zero for all. I hate all exercise. It hurts my lungs to run, hurts my muscles doing weights. I hate cycling, it's exhausting. I can't swim!

I walk a lot (at least 15k steps daily) and I go to gym classes 3 times a week (and hate every second)

I've been a regular at the gym for over a year now, I'm still waiting to be bitten by the "bug" - people keep telling me this happens and I'll actually miss it when I'm not there. Not for me, I love my non gym days. Exercise is just another chore on my list, tbh.

This is me . I hate any gym and most forms of exercise with a passion but I do love walking , probably because it's shared with my dogs .

Pilates 5/10 it’s not something I do regularly. It’s ok. I don’t really consider it exercise

Cycling Spinning 10/10 absolutely love love love spin. I don’t like cycling outside on roads

Swimming 1/10 hate it

Team sports / ball sports - 1/10 hate them

Running 9/10 but can no longer run due to stupid ankles.

Walking 5/10 but see above.

Swimming in sea or rivers - 10/10 but can only do it in appropriate weather and if/when they aren't full of literal shit.

Paddle-boarding 9/10 - but see answer above plus sea has to be almost completely flat as I am a beginner.

All other exercises and sports - ZERO

Running - depends where. Around a flat, boring park, 2/10, on a more interesting route, 4/10.

Weights 0/10 - I know it's important, and I try to force myself ... sometimes

Cycling and pilates - never done either

Swimming 8/10 in a grotty indoor pool. 9/10 in a nice indoor pool. 7/10 in a tricky rough sea. 10/10 in a kind calm sea. 11/10 in an nice unheated outdoor pool.

Running 5/10 - on a good day I enjoy it but I’m crap at it so it’s very hard work

Weights 8/10 - love seeing the progress and muscle growth

Pilates 8/10 - really enjoy with a good teacher, I like the body awareness

Cycling 4/10 - love a gentle flat cycle but hate anything uphill or competitive or on busy roads

Swimming 1/10 - I love being in the water but lane swimming is intensely boring

Team/ball sports 0/10 - school ball sports were responsible for putting me off all sport and exercise for decades

I’ll add walking/hiking 9/10 and Skiing 11/10 !
