I think my no name step is 3/4 the length of a reebok one, but was about £35 last year on amazon. The length is OK for BP as I'm a short arse, but its possibly a bit short for fancy dancey step routines.

Mugginyouleftrightandcentre · 06/04/2021 22:19

I have the Amazon Basics one, I think it was about 40 quid. The only down side is that the risers don't lock in like they do on the Les Mills one, so it's a bit trickier to move around, but it's nice and big and I use it for step, pump, Grit and it's great.

I did BA 100 tonight - not gonna lie, it was a struggle after a weekend of chocolate and booze and also the fact I have never done it before, I felt like I had completely lost my mojo! But I think I have just got to push through it and get back to it Smile

Why don't I ever note which releases of things are good? There's a CXworx/Core one I wanted to do again, and I've spent about 10 minutes skipping through the videos trying to find a specific section.

moiraswigs · 07/04/2021 12:08

I've the Amazon basics step too. It's not bad at all for the price.

I did pump nano this morning. Really liked that they showed a non barbell option the whole way through, as I am only using dumbbells it just made it really clear to me how I should be moving. It's body step for me tomorrow, though am slightly scared by the high prospect of falling over if I extend to the 55 min version Grin

There is a 'list' function on the app so you can save the releases that you like in there.

I did a Hybrid workout on the new workouts list, runners focus. It was Attack/Pump/Core and I really feel I’ve had a tough leg and shoulder workout! I find the time flys by on the mixed releases!

Pebbledashery · 07/04/2021 15:44

I had 3 hours broken sleep because little one wanted to have a party.. So did nothing today except die on the sofa. Early night tonight then will do step tomorrow :)

Well that's my first one done. 30 mins of Pump 114 and I'll be sore tomorrow. I literally haven't worked out in years. There was only a tiny bit I couldn't do not having a step, the other bit I just lay on the floor like one of the instructors.

Looking forward to seeing what else is there.

MozzchopsThirty · 07/04/2021 20:41

I did 45 min BC 81 tonight, it was very meh 💁🏼‍♀️
I find the older ones burn way more calories
Although I like 77-79 and 83
Weird how some of them don't push me enough

Can anyone recommend a nice BP 30 min to do tomorrow
I haven't done BP in months
Have everything except the step

Mugginyouleftrightandcentre · 07/04/2021 21:46

Did the new BP 115 tonight, I enjoyed it so I will definitely do it again. Got to gear myself up for getting back to Grit tomorrow, haven't done it in over a week, I feel like I will back to square one!

I haven't done the 30 minute version but I enjoyed BP 112 the other day. And 110 is all set outside against NZ landscapes if you like that sort of thing!
MozzchopsThirty · 08/04/2021 07:31

@rosettesforjill thank you, I'll give one of those a go

sociallydistained · 08/04/2021 10:13

Did another Hybrid today the one with Combat/Grit (Grot) and Core. I’m looking forward to trying out BP 115 tomorrow!

Pebbledashery · 08/04/2021 14:56

Grot 🤣🤣🤣

Did one of the Erin Maw trainer series this morning which I quite enjoyed! Like a more achievable version of Grot Grin

moiraswigs · 08/04/2021 17:52

I've started the game changer challenge so did BS 111 this morning. Am weirdly quite excited for tomorrow's pump and combat. Need to stop eating so much chocolate though or I'll never see these promised gains. It's also destroying my skin 😠

supercee · 08/04/2021 18:03

Well I can hardly walk today 🥴 Managed to plod through 30 mins of a BC class but it was half arsed as I struggled to get the moves and it was very fast. I didn't enjoy it all that much.

Not sure if I should continue with BP tomorrow or do a yoga/stretch one? Or step if my step gets delivered in time.

MozzchopsThirty · 08/04/2021 18:06

I did pump 115 as it was already up on my screen
Really enjoyed it, the squat track killed me though
But seeing as I haven't done it in almost a year it wasn't too bad Smile

Mugginyouleftrightandcentre · 08/04/2021 20:23

Did GRIT cardio and core today - loved it and thank god I seemed to have retained my fitness after my weekend of indulgence, felt like I had fallen off the wagon completely!

sociallydistained · 08/04/2021 21:11

🤣🤣

My laughter was aimed at this 🙈
Mugginyouleftrightandcentre · 08/04/2021 21:59

I'm definitely going to start calling it 'Grot'!

Pebbledashery · 08/04/2021 22:07

I hadn't done combat for 2 weeks nearly and did combat 67 this morning and bloody loved it.

Barre this morning for me, maybe #8? The one with the 'Single Ladies warm up'. Anyway, managed to pop in a couple of the low jumps and my leg hasn't fallen off, so that's all good.

Visited the physio earlier too, he's happy with my progress, but obviously saying I shouldn't get ahead of myself so stick with the Yoga most days, but he's very happy with me doing a couple of Barre and Core a week as they are good for glutes and core strength.

He was laughing at me describing the Stretch #1 Hip Mobility as being a bit 'emotional'

Well done to anyone who has done a Grot! I think that's off the menu for me for a long time.

MozzchopsThirty · 09/04/2021 12:24

@Pebbledashery BC67 is awesome, 66 great too
