ooh well done rosettes I will try 106 and 111 over the next few days - I remember pump at the gyms 15 years ago when the back track was one clean and press and one row - seems so hard nowadays compared to then

petalsandstars · 27/03/2021 10:45

🥵🥵🥵 wow, I couldn’t manage the full 30 mins of rpm. So much harder than combat - how long does it take to build it up?

HermioneWeasley · 27/03/2021 15:57

Did BLAT this morning and have spent all day in the garden so my back is aching, but my new weights have just arrived so I’ll be doing pump 114 tomorrow!

scullie · 27/03/2021 16:35

I've just done BP 106..I try and do a different one most days and not sure how this one had escaped the carousel as I hadn't done it for ages.
It's definitely a challenge. I quite enjoyed the back track although tough, it was the lunges and the shoulders that killed me. Kylie is a machine!!!! She's amazing. I'm not so amazing Grin

rosettesforjill · 27/03/2021 20:36

I did Attack 90... for fun 😬 what is becoming of me?! I just love the second track though.

Well I say for fun but it was at least partly driven by wanting to get a big burn in to earn myself a bit of Wine

Pebbledashery · 27/03/2021 20:57

I did body combat 66 today. Rest day tomorrow. So stuffing my face with pizza and chocolate.
I'm going to do body attack 101 on Monday

I need to try some of these newer pump releases. I'm still in my comfort zone of 96/97/98!

nbee84 · 27/03/2021 22:07

@petalsandstars - it will come with time. Keep your resistance low enough that you can keep up with the cadence (though be mindful to have enough resistance on when you stand to protect your knees) Also, if you need to just sit back and pedal for a minute or so when you need it and then join back in. There are some shorter ones you can do to build up.
Try 'The Trip' - they also have shorter length ones of those too. You are cycling to futuristic scenery and listening to the instructor for cues - I find I feel less guilty doing my own thing as you can't see instructors on bikes.

Juliesipadwillcallyouback · 28/03/2021 09:54

Is anyone else just totally amazed by Erin? She is so energetic in Grit, bouncing around everywhere, I love her!

Did my fave bodypump 111 yesterday, am finding it difficult to branch out! Same for BC I keep going back to 77!

PilatesPeach · 28/03/2021 10:50

I did 106 pump just now - not my favourite - I don't like the lunge track there are too many squats imo but the rest was ok. I am not a Gritter - I used to do Metafit (not LM) and loved that but the gym stopped it. I do alot of body step but do whatever the instructor on zoom is doing. I used to do attack but tend to run nowadays.

kittykarate · 28/03/2021 12:16

Barre remix this morning- no jumping and fake echappes for me as part of my hip rehab. There's no cool down in this one which is a bit weird.

Followed by stretch #1 hips. My leg feels a bit zingy now, but nothing twanged.

MsMartini · 28/03/2021 14:30

I agree - it will get better. Focus on a new move each time and if necessary swap out the complicated bits for eg jumping jacks - gradually, you will be able to do more of their moves and it is such fun and so satisfying!!

Pebbledashery · 29/03/2021 08:28

About to do body attack 101.. Wish me luck.

Belated good luck Pebbledashery.

45 minute version of Body Balance this morning - trying to gently push myself onwards. My crazy thing this week is going back to riding school tomorrow -it may be more of a blackpool beach donkey plod than anything more dynamic, but it will be a step back to normality.

Pebbledashery · 29/03/2021 09:58

God that was hard. I hope one day I can actually finish the whole workout without stopping!

moiraswigs · 30/03/2021 09:20

I did body attack 100 30 mins this morning. My first one. Absolutely loved it!

kittykarate · 31/03/2021 10:28

I do love the workout in BA 100 - it's really joyous. Just think they don't give the cooldown enough attention.

Well, I managed to get on the horse yesterday and actively walked him around for 40 minutes. Didn't seem to do any new damage, and afterwards my leg and hip actually felt lighter. Next week - back on it and doing some rising trot. Though at times I think my riding school is trying to kill me, the horse they put me on was 16hands or so, with his shoulder at least 4 inches above my head height. So it was a bit of a mountaineer to get on him, even from the big block. Their logic was that once you get him to stand next to the block he's very patient about standing there and won't fanny about too much. I think they should train him to kneel down like a camel.

This morning it was BB 86 45 minutes. I quite like the mix of moves in this one, nothing too complicated in the 30 minute version, though there is more balance/strength standing on one leg once you go up to the 45. Next week.. maybe go for the full length.

sociallydistained · 31/03/2021 15:07

Also did 30 min BA 100 this morning. Definitely love that one! Did RPM speed focus after. That killed me off. I did RPM climb focus yesterday.

Also back with my gym doing outside classes. They started Monday. Just a HIIT but I was so thankful I have done LM throughout lockdown as I kept up and I am definitely fitter than when the gyms were open 😂

sociallydistained · 01/04/2021 12:01

BP 113 this morning. I seem to go to the ones that are “trending” it seems like shuffle mode for me haha. Quite like 113 especially the lunge track.

Pebbledashery · 01/04/2021 12:11

Feeling rubbish all week so have only managed 1 work out this week :(
On the plus side, I have been offered a new job in the NHS and I am really happy :) :)

OP posts:
Pebbledashery · 01/04/2021 12:11

BA 100 is most definitely the best!! i love tracks 5-9!

OP posts:
moiraswigs · 01/04/2021 12:23

Congratulations on the new job @Pebbledashery!

I did my first BodyStep this morning. Think it was 99. Enjoyed it, though had the same uncoordinated flailing as my first Combat. Will persevere though and maybe, one day, I might have a bit of grace!

kittykarate · 01/04/2021 12:28

I did a 30 minute Core as it does include a lot of lower impact standing strength stuff, and then the Stretch #1 Hip (again).

I'm definitely seeing an improvement in mobility in my hips now, at one point I couldn't get my hand anywhere near the floor in Stretch, and now sometimes, it does happen. Though I'm still crushing watermelons not grapes with my knees in some of the other stretches.

I also managed a 15 walking workout from Lesley Sansome, without having to hit pause. 3 weeks ago, it was literally in 2 minute bursts, and topping out at 6 minutes. Still bloody frustrating though.

kittykarate · 01/04/2021 12:28

Congrats on the new job @Pebbledashery ! I hope they treat you well.

Pebbledashery · 01/04/2021 12:39

Thanks lovelies :)
I love body step, but I feel like a big fat elephant trying to do some of those moves. Don't ever ask me to do the cha cha cha around the step!
