Not exercised for a loooong time so eased in. Started with Sh'Bam, I really enjoyed it but feeling rough now.

Welcome! I can't do Sh'Bam at all 😂 none of my limbs will do what they're supposed to!
TabbyStar · 10/05/2021 20:15

Yeah I decided I wasn't in the target demographic for Sh'bam when they talked about being sexy in the club....

LongIslandIcedT · 10/05/2021 21:02

I couldn't keep up at all and the leaping was a little too far but it takes me back to Zumba days. I was definitely much more clumsy than sexy.

I did body combat once at the gym and couldn't walk for a week, so many kicks!!.

NowYouListenToMeFella · 11/05/2021 09:03

Survived the first day of stronger challenge. Ugh I can see why ye call grit grot. I did enjoy the body balance after it. Bodypump today.

zobalina77 · 11/05/2021 09:32

Just had my new sofa delivered. It is much bigger than it looked. My first thought was I didn't not have enough room to do my workouts 🤣. Going to have to spend the day moving furniture around. I don't even have enough room to lie down to do any core work.

rosettesforjill · 12/05/2021 14:16

Bodyattack 107 for me today. Have to grit my teeth to get past the plyo track but I always enjoy it after that point! And this release has an older and slightly overweight man who really goes for it throughout and is my absolute hero Grin

MozzchopsThirty · 13/05/2021 10:03

I am attempting my first BC 55 min tonight, which I haven't done in over 2 years Shock
Wish me luck

Think I'm going to pick an oldie

rosettesforjill · 13/05/2021 11:18

Have fun! I really enjoyed 79 earlier this week Smile

kittykarate · 13/05/2021 11:30

Good luck Mozzchops!

I did a sneaky 'walking' 30 min BC yesterday (ok - might have done the last round of running man!). Feeling it today in my shoulders, but no ill effects in my hip.

sociallydistained · 13/05/2021 11:59

I did Bodyattack 109 this morning. Haven’t done BA for maybe a month so was good to switch it up. I did the 45 minute then did 15 mins of Sprint 🥵

MozzchopsThirty · 13/05/2021 13:31

I love BC 77, 78 & 79 out of the newer ones

I might go as far back as 65 tonight though and go proper old school Smile

moiraswigs · 13/05/2021 18:55

I did 30 mins body attack 98 this morning then 30 mins of body balance. I just love body attack, it's so cheerful and energising. I think it's my favourite of the LM cardio options.

MozzchopsThirty · 13/05/2021 19:32

BC 65 was great 💪🏼💪🏼💪🏼
501 calories gone 🙌🏼

zobalina77 · 13/05/2021 19:48

Ooh yay! Bodypump United would be my recommendation - really good back to basics and because it isn't in a studio it's easier to work out what you're supposed to be doing!
rosettesforjill · 13/05/2021 21:00

112 and 113 are great too

zobalina77 · 13/05/2021 22:01

Thank you so much! I'm going to give it a go in the morning.

MozzchopsThirty · 13/05/2021 22:21

I like BP115

Hello, newbie to this thread. Been doing Les Mills od for a while now and i think it’s kept me more motivated and fitter than when I was regularly going to the gym to do classes pre-Covid. Anyone else thinking of dropping the gym completely and just sticking with LM? Also tried the new Body Step release yesterday, really enjoyed it but needed to get my head around all the new steps!

Hi there!

I haven't been a gym member for years but I don't think I'd join now. I think the only reason to join would be if I decided I wanted to start lifting properly but otherwise I don't see the point! I much prefer doing classes when there's nobody to laugh at me when I go in the wrong direction or fall over Grin

zobalina77 · 14/05/2021 09:23

Have just done bp 112 and I loved it. I only did the 30 minute version with it being my first time but it flew by and I wish I'd don't the full one. I thought I should have upped my weight on the squat track but just tried to walk downstairs and my legs felt like jelly so maybe the weight was right. Think pump might be my new favourite.

rosettesforjill · 14/05/2021 11:04

Definitely do the full 112 - the bicep track is epic!

nbee84 · 14/05/2021 15:30

@buzzy1 - yes, I've dropped my gym membership and now have LMOD and the Peloton app. The gym membership went as I was on a joint membership with a friend with a great discount. She decided to leave and the cost to me as a single member was just too high. I miss the social side of things but the lockdowns have shown me just what I can achieve at home. I'm working out 6 days a week and love that I can rock up to 'my gym' without worrying about brushing my sticky up morning hair and don't have to make sure I've got matching gym wear that covers any wobbly bits Grin

I have thought about doing this a lot and during the first lockdown I was doing LM 6x a week and thinking of not going back but Tbh it’s got me more interested in training in general and now I’m following a lifting plan and doing that at the gym 3x a week and enjoying all my training more than ever. I also do a Tabata class there which I enjoy (despite it being Grot like... thanks Grot for preparing me!) but I still do LM 2-3 times a week and love that I have a choice of all the programmes and I love them all!
