Did step last night, never done it before, must have pulled my knee because its so painful today and i twisted it at work too this afternoon.

Pebbledashery · 13/04/2021 21:51

I did body combat 58 today... Dutch style!

MyLifeNow20 · 13/04/2021 22:03

Pebble is that the newest one? Whats dutch style?

Mugginyouleftrightandcentre · 13/04/2021 22:28

I did BC 85 tonight and I think I have finally found a release to rival my beloved #77!!!

rosettesforjill · 13/04/2021 22:39

Bodyflow United for me tonight. Such a lovely release! I even managed to embrace the cheese in the meditation Grin

Pebbledashery · 13/04/2021 22:51

Oh body combat 58 is one of the very old ones.. There's a Dutch instructor.. He does track 5 and is brilliant. It's only a short 35 minute workout but I was sweating buckets

OP posts:
MyLifeNow20 · 13/04/2021 22:52

I will have to look at that one as I think I prefer the older ones. Trying to find the one with speedball in it...

Pebbledashery · 13/04/2021 22:55

Older ones are definitely better.. I don't go past body combat 78.. I like the 60s and 50s. You just sweat so much more.

OP posts:
MozzchopsThirty · 14/04/2021 13:04

Definitely older ones are better
I burn more in a 30min oldie than a 45min post 80 release

Does it go back that far on OD????
I think mine only goes back to about 64

MozzchopsThirty · 14/04/2021 13:05

@Mugginyouleftrightandcentre I love 77 too so maybe 85 is worth a look

Pebbledashery · 14/04/2021 13:48

Mine goes back as far as body combat 58. I did 63 this morning and I'm bloody aching I tell you.

Matilda2013 · 14/04/2021 19:24

I did BC 85 today (30mins) and I thoroughly enjoyed it!

EasterIssland · 14/04/2021 20:27

Sorry all! Missed there was a new thread!
I saw there is a new combat can’t wait to do it

MyLifeNow20 · 14/04/2021 20:45

I love combat 77 30 min one track 2! The jumping and kicking makes me feel good!

I work out in my conservatory which I have turned into my gym, its a laminate floor and find my trainers always slip, does anyone else have this problem?

rosettesforjill · 14/04/2021 20:57

@MyLifeNow20 I exercise on tiles and don't normally have this problem unless I start getting really really sweaty, at which point I normally get my yoga mat out (which has the added benefit of an extra break in Grit!). Obviously it would be too small for a whole workout, but I wonder if some sort of mat might work for you? Like one of those nice baby play mats if you know what I mean!

kittykarate · 15/04/2021 09:56

I have those interlocking mats to put down to protect the carpet from my sweat - they are pretty good www.decathlon.co.uk/p/df920-floor-pads-4-pack/_/R-p-7742?mc=8224362&c=BLACK

I've seen people use garage floor matting too.

rosettesforjill · 16/04/2021 17:04

Finished Stronger challenge today! 💪🏻

I like the structure of the challenges so I think I'm going to move on to Game Changer on Monday, but I might add a bit more Pump (just extending to the full versions instead of 30 mins) as I don't want to lose my strength gains. A bit nervous about full length Attack/Combat though!

sociallydistained · 16/04/2021 17:56

Second day back at the gym today and I am certainly able to lift heavier than before lockdown thanks to regular pump. Feeling quite pleased but definitely achy!

@rosettesforjill Well done for completing the challenge thats a real achievement! Don’t worry about full length Attacks and combats, you’ll find the time flies by and the tracks they omit from the shorter releases are more chilled anyway.

wishywashywoowoo70 · 17/04/2021 16:58

Having a total face on today.
Thought I'd was doing ok body wise with my Les mills. Got some new casual trousers and wore them today. I thought I looked ok until I saw myself in the mirrors walking through Next.
Dumpy is a word that crossed my mind.
Fat cow was another
🥲

Pebbledashery · 17/04/2021 17:19

@wishywashywoowoo70 I'm sure it wasn't that at all. Some shoes made me look like naiomi Campbell and some make me look like Warwick Davis. I sometimes think no matter how much I exercise and eat well I'm still a fatty

Ha ha that did make me laugh.
I feel better now I'm in front of my own mirror.
Definitely need to up my game though.

sociallydistained · 18/04/2021 19:55

GROT strength today. That is all 😩

Mugginyouleftrightandcentre · 18/04/2021 20:05

Just did Grot 30 Athletic - it was horrible! But I really needed to get my arse in gear and I did it!

HermioneWeasley · 18/04/2021 20:07

BP 114 metabolic blast followed by core 38 for the first time.

Undid all my good work with a massive piece of baklava which wasn’t even that nice.

kittykarate · 19/04/2021 13:05

Core Nano for me this morning. It's a pretty good core release, though i had to take some rests during the leg waving parts.
