Running leggings

That have a little key pocket and a pocket for my phone.
Does anyone have a brand that they’d recommend? The pickets are essential for me as I take my phone and hate the arm cuff things. I have one pair that I’m washing and wearing constantly and live in fear of the day they die but I got them from tx maxx and it seems they are an American brand that aren’t available here.
Ideally black but just nothing flourescent or patterned, must be thick and must not ever fall down or need rearranging!
I feel like I’m searching for something that doesn’t exist. Price isn’t important, will pay whatever for a couple of new pairs to add into the rotation.

Queenie ke do leggings like you have asked for.

They don't roll down either. They have high waisted versions also.

PurpleDaisies · 14/02/2021 15:19

Sweaty Betty power leggings are expensive but brilliant.

TheChosenTwo · 14/02/2021 15:21

Thank you, I’ll have a look at those now.

Decathlon

DietrichandDiMaggio · 14/02/2021 15:24

I found my SB power leggings do slip down if I run.

I have a pair of Decathlon trail shorts with pockets in the waistband that I love, so I just wear them over leggings if it's cold.

pomegranatefudge · 14/02/2021 15:26

100% Sweaty Betty power leggings. Worth every penny!

3dogdnorth · 14/02/2021 15:31

I've had many pairs and can really recommend ones from Marks and Spencer. Buy ones that feel a little tighter than you'd like as they do slacken off a bit. Good prices too!

AmandaHugenkiss · 14/02/2021 15:34

Recent convert to the Sweaty Betty power leggings. It hurts how expensive they are, but for running and gym I can’t fault them and the phone pocket and zip key pocket are fab.

AmandaHugenkiss · 14/02/2021 15:35

They also do the most amazing hiviz version which is what got me hooked, for running on dark village roads at night.

Chimboo · 14/02/2021 15:38

Another vote for the SB Power leggings. Eyewateringly expensive but brilliant.

moirarosebabay · 14/02/2021 15:44

Does anyone have some with drawstrings? And a zip pocket? I got some Nike ones years ago but they are falling to bits.

SmallestInTheClass · 14/02/2021 15:45

Decathlon trail running leggings are great for pockets. And not just those annoying ones on the side of your leg which must make me run lopsided as I always get knee or hip pain.

TrainingAim · 14/02/2021 15:48

Most running (rather than gym) leggings have a key pocket. Asics are my favourite for function at a reasonable price. IME though, the weight of a phone will pull the tights down. A Flipbelt is the way to go, if you need to run with your phone. You don't know it's there.

Egghead68 · 14/02/2021 15:50

Another vote for Sweaty Betty

Dozer · 14/02/2021 15:52

Flipbelt!

Lovaduck74 · 14/02/2021 15:55

Second Queenie K. I have two high waisted pairs from them and they have lasted really well and don't fall down when I have my phone in my pocket! They are good value too.

AuntieStella · 14/02/2021 15:55

Decathlon

Easily the best VFM - excellent performance, good fabrics, plenty of pockets (in sensible places) and drawstrings

Scarydinosaurs · 14/02/2021 15:56

Another vote for queeniekee they wash well and last forever

cautiouscovidity · 14/02/2021 15:57

Have you tried a FlipBelt for the phone? I found them revolutionary. Not only do they hold the phone much better than an arm pocket (which I also hated) but they also help to keep up any running leggings. Win win!
I found the weight of my phone in any leggings pocket just caused them to start falling down. The FlipBelt was a game-changer.

1990s · 14/02/2021 16:01

Does your phone ever fall out of the flip belt? I’m a bit confused by it having no zips

trilbydoll · 14/02/2021 16:03

Decathlon trail running range, two zip pockets and two leg pockets with no zips for gels. And a drawstring.

Africa2go · 14/02/2021 16:04

SB Power Leggings. They often have 20 or 25% off so about £50 but worth it. Deep pocket for phone, zipped pocket at the back and drawstring to tighten the waist.

I also have some Shock Absorber ones which I like, zipped pocket but no side pocket.

TheChosenTwo · 14/02/2021 17:03

I’ve owned SB in the past and not been impressed by the quality for the price tbh, I have no issue spending the money on things if they’re good quality but I’ve had a top get a hole in the armpit after 2 wears and washes and the seam come undone on a pair of leggings. This was a few years ago, maybe they’ve upped their game now.
The ones I have currently are skintight with deep pockets, I’m not looking for replacing with a waist band though, I can’t feel anything in my side pockets, everything is held in so securely and tightly.
The Queenieke ones I’ve found describe their leggings as yoga ones - are these the ones you mean?

Decathlon. POckets, drawstrings, brilliant. Flipbelt also brlliant - the new versions have a zip pocket for a phone. Mine also holds keys, tissues, bar, foldable shopping bag, hand gel, mask....With just a phone and keys, I never notice it

ohhhhitsme · 14/02/2021 17:14

@moirarosebabay

Nike Air 7/8 running tights. £45 and amazing Pocket on the back fits an iPhone, drawstrings and high waisted 🙌🏼
