I'm sleeping really badly again so I've been doing a lot of walking more than anything else in the last few days. And I got in a couple of sea dips (too big of a swell to actually swim). I did manage a run this morning though. The weather is glorious this week. ☀️

I’m sleeping badly too @MotherForkinShirtBalls. And I’ve walked 22,500 steps today. Hoping for more than 4 hours sleep tonight (I’ve been awake since 03:30).

Epic day 43 quads and lower abs plus a lilly sabri line 11 abs workout.

Yes I'm not sure what to make of her HIIT either Roonetta. They are very intense. Sometimes I feel wrecked for the day afterwards. The dumbbell HIIT I did last weekend was more like the Jillian style.

Sorry to hear you're sleeping badly MotherForkin and Oubliette. Have you tried anything herbal to help?** My sleep was terrible last week as was generally stressed. A few things were going on and I couldn't get my mind to relax.

Only one more week left Sophie Grin - I think it has flown by, how about you? Are you going to take on Epic 2 do you think?

Rubbish about the lack of sleep Motherforkin and Oubliette. I don't suppose the lost hour helped. Hope you can get some decent sleep soon.

Epic day 36 back and biceps. This was quite easy compared to yesterday! Could have done with some heavier weights. Did a 5 minute Lilly Sabri abs yesterday and will do it again later on today.

My sleep issue is mostly caused by DH snoring loudly and waking me up. I don’t struggle to get to sleep - it’s staying asleep that’s tricky.

Ugh, I hear you and dh Oubliette. And in between the snoring I'm having stress dreams or getting restless leg (and arm and everywhere else) syndrome. I'm officially coming apart at the seams. 🤕

Work was bonkers today and I had to get some grocery shopping done so I managed a good bit of walking but nothing else.

Yes I also fall asleep very easily oubliette but like you hard to fall Asleep if woken up. Snoring drives me mad!!!!

Have you tried magnesium for restless leg motherforkin?

Epic day 37 Bulgarian lunges done. Guilty of not doing Lilly sabri abs yesterday. Motivation is waning at the moment. God knows what it will be like when I go back into the office. I will kick myself if I fall off the exercising wagon.

Oooo that was a tough day Roonetta. Remember those lunges and the staple exercise of Bulgarian lunge with one legged decline push up....... ouch. 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

Sorry to hear motivation is waning - perhaps best to just push through if you're worried about stopping. That's what I try to do when I really don't feel like exercising. Or I try a differebt type of exercise that appeals more.

Unfortunately magnesium for the rls gives me nightmares, Sophie! I am a complete wreck 😂

I did an easier than expected cardio and toning fit by Amy workout earlier. I should have done another but my enthusiasm is waning too, Roonetta.

Strength: NMTZ (50 min). I’m a bit confused about what day it is - presumably because of the upcoming bank holidays. I’m not working all next week, so I’ll doubtless be even more confused before long.

Day 44 epic. One hour full body. Didn't really enjoy this. There were two 20 minute long complexes with repeat moves and no rests. The hour felt like a really long time.... and I wasn't very motivated to exercise before I started either....

Sounds like we all need the Easter break! I really didn't want to go for a run this morning but I met my friend (she really didn't want to do it either) and it was better than we both expected which was good. Then I did a long walk with the kids for some rock pool investigations. I think I'm going to start my weekend early Wine

I have next week off too Oubliette. Hopefully I will get my motivation back.

Urgh, day 44 sounds tough Sophie. I wonder whether the longer workouts need more rest days for my muscles to repair? I do find her workouts extremely tiring.

My Fitbit counted me gardening as a workout, so I’ll take that. Also did Epic day 38 killer upper body. This one went surprisingly quickly.

I'm really lucky to live so close to the sea, I love swimming so being able to get in the water, even if I can't swim properly has been a sanity saver. I was in today, after a good walk. It was beautiful.

Epic day 44 EMOM HIIT. This was hard and so intense. There were three rounds and even Caroline was struggling during the second round and all the comments seemed to suggest it was very tough. I could only do round 3 (abs/core) properly and manage to get in some rest before the timer started again.

She did have modifications but they didn't help much! So I modified more myself. I didn't enjoy this as it felt so unmanageable. I'm sure it did me good though!!

Followed with a short lilly sabri abs workout.

Wow, that photo is glorious Motherforkin. We have a holiday booked at the end of May in Dorset, so fingers crossed everything goes to plan.

I can feel Epic getting harder each day Sophie, so can only imagine what day 44 is like. How did you also manage a Lilly sabri after? Star

Rest day yesterday and an active rest day today with a 3 mile WWL. My muscles needed a break.

I had planned a rest day today but I found a trainer a friend was talking about on insta last night so I tried one of his leg circuits for runners this morning. My legs were like jelly after Blush. Got in a 5.5k walk too.

Epic day 46. Abs and push ups (more push ups....).

Think I managed lilly sabri after as round 3 yesterday was manageable for me so recovered a bit from rounds 1 and 2!!

Where are you booked for Dorset Roonetta?

I've a busy day today (I get to drive for two whole hours, by myself!) so only a short time to get something done this morning. I couldn't face a run so I dug out my skipping rope and did hiit intervals of skipping and core work. It was 20 minutes of hard going!

Great variety of workouts Motherforkin. Can’t remember the last time I did any skipping.

We have booked a cottage in Lyme Regis Sophie. We did have a caravan booked for this week but had to cancel as things weren’t opening up until the 12th. When we tried to book the caravan for another time, they wanted £2,500 for a week which I refused to pay. We got the cottage for less than half the price.

Epic day 39 full body workout. Tough but enjoyable. I think the rest days did me good.

I keep hoping it might be spring. It was warm yesterday (16C), but then it snowed this morning. Not there yet...
