Oh, emom routines are brutal, no wonder your arms are dead. My pt (sob, I'm still sad she's shut up shop) used to make me do them as finishers after circuits.

I'm exhausted today so it's going to be walking rather than running the school run.

I remember the EMOM Roonetta. I found it really hard and my arms gave out on me at the end (I think it finished with tricep push ups?). Yeah I didn't take photos because that not really my thing but now I'm curious!!

I agree with everyone else. EMOM is evil. Much more so than Jillian (yes - even BFBM).

Was planning a rest day today and maybe a WWL, but for some mad reason decided to do Cardio 2 from Body Revolution. My fitness has definitely improved (especially the burpees) but wow, I had forgotten what a beast Jillian is!

Definitely counting this as a days exercise!

Run and short swim this morning. It was too cold and choppy for a long one. I have also done a lot of walking, 22k steps so far. I've no idea how you do this regularly and get a day's work done, Oubliette!

@MotherForkinShirtBalls - I spend my breaks walking and walk at the beginning/end of the day too. I only get to 20,000+ if it’s the weekend or if I have a town hall type meeting where I can listen on my phone and walk at the same time.

I didn't do epic today as was exhausted and had to take cat to vet first thing. I did do a 10 mins lilly sabri butt workout with DD and then a lower abs session but not sure it was enough exercise to count as a proper exercise day!

Back to epic tomorrow I hope !

I did a Girvan abs workout today and I though I was going to die. It was brutal! No wonder she has a washboard stomach! I couldn't do half of it. So i did a cardio/toning one too to make up for it.

Which abs workout did you do MotherForkin? I saw she has some that are 30 mins or so. Sounds hardcore.

It was only 20 mins, Sophie. Every minute felt like an hour.

Run and swim today. The weather is very mixed. It was beautiful although windy for the run, cold with glorious sunshine for the swim and snowing an hour later!

20 mins is a long time on abs with girvan MotherForkin !!! I like to try and do 5 or 10 mins as a finisher as I don't feel my abs (particular lower) are getting worked all that much with epic. Do you feel the same roonetta or not really? I think because of my diastatis recti, I need to keep working at my abs regularly

I feel my abs are worked more with girvan, but I do have weak stomach muscles. They always feel really sore the day after. I have an issue with leg raises, because I find my back arches and no matter what I do I can’t get it to lie flat against the floor. Any tips for this would be gratefully received Grin

Epic day 40 dumbbell HIIT plus a lilly sabri lower abs workout.

Have you tried making a diamond shaped with your hands under your tail bone Roonetta? Or you can bend your legs (instead of straight) or lower only for as long as you feel your lower back is in contact with the floor. So don't go all the way down.

Thanks for the tip about hands under the tailbone Sophie.I will try that next time Smile. I wonder if it is something which will improve with time or whether my back will always be arched Hmm

Epic day 34 full body workout done. I am not a fan of the chair workouts (unless I am sat on it). I always feel really unsteady and like my feet are going to fall off.

Epic day 41 glutes and hamstrings (she used a resistance band and a yoga block for a couple of exercises) plus lilly sabri abs and core.

I think once your abs get stronger Roonetta, you'll be able to pull (suck in) your belly button more towards your back during ab work and then your back shouldn't be so arched. I've found doing 5 or 10 mins of abs a few times a week made a big difference. Since starting epic and doing longer abs sessions but less often, I've found I've lost a lot of ab strength and definition.

Epic day 35 tabata HIIT - I really don't like her HIIT workouts. I might start doing some Lilly Sabri 5 minute abs to get this six pack looking less like a barrel.
