A holiday, any time, any where sounds fantastic, Roonetta! (Although maybe not at £2500 for a week in a caravan.)

Run this morning. It was absolutely beautiful, sun shining in a clear blue sky, but there was a strong, icy wind and i was not wearing enough layers.

Epic day 40 dumbbell HIIT done.

I channelled my inner Jillian today when I felt like giving up half way through. I heard “unless you puke, faint or die keep going”. It worked and I seemed to find a second wind Grin.

Are you dumbbells in the house oubliette? Or did he take them to boarding school?!Frustrating!!

Day 49 epic today. This was 45 minutes bodyweight strength (and was way easier than previous sessions. Lots of balancing which I'm ok at and some Jillian moves) then 20 mins of yoga stretching. Can't believe only one day left!

I had an off couple of days, just did some of ds's boxing footwork and a squat challenge with him instead of anything very much. But back on it with a run this morning. Haven't been swimming as it's been bitterly cold. I might brave it later and come home to light the fire!

I had a hill run this morning. Well, walk and run, it was bloody hard going. Then I went for a dip. The air was 1c and the water 8.5c but it was incredibly beautiful with the sun blazing in a clear blue sky.

KAbs L2D7 and Ri30 L4D4 (60 min). I still jealous of the sea swimming - although I’m not sure I’m hardy enough to do it. I have to confess that a bought an inflated hot tub a few weeks ago -it’s rather pleasant to sit in there after I’ve exercised and showered.

Yes the hot tub does sounds lovely after a workout oubliette.

I decided to start epic heat. Wasn't sure but I've quite been enjoying not having to plan what workout to do etc (lazy!!). I did find the epic heat wam up quite long (9 mins). Will probably do the normal epic warm up instead.

Epic heat day 1 legs - done!! Plus a short lilly sabri abs workout.

Days exercised 86 (randomly took off 11 days yesterday 🤨🤔 !!)

Epic day 45 EMOM workout. This was hideous Sophie. I had to cut down the reps by half AND modify and I was still dying. I did notice that Caroline couldn't even keep up with herself which made me less disheartened. I think the best thing I can say about that workout is that I will never have to do it again Grin Annoyingly, my fitbit tells me I only burned 266 calories! Liar! I burned more than that just watching it.

I have watched a few of the Epic Heat workouts and they look really tough. Not sure my old bones could keep up. What did you think of day 1?

Yes that EMOM was really really tough Roonetta. Worst hardest workout of the whole program for me. Especially the upper body bit. And yes noticed she couldn't keep up herself. I'm 200% positive not 266 calories only.

Epic heat day 1 was ok. Definitely harder than the start of epic (remember the first lower body workouts and they were quite ok). Would say it's about the standard of middle-end epic 1. And probably more intense as it's 30 mins but hard to say as only done 1 day! I've not watched any of the other heat workouts.

I used my 8kg today and sometimes put on my ankle weights to make them 9kg. She was using 12.5kg!!

I did a legs and core circuit today and I'm feeling it already! I'm back at the physio tomorrow and really hoping she'll let me do some upper body work again. 🤞
