Um, yes, definitely did the full work out, very enthusiastically last night Sophie Blush. I redid it this morning to make up for it.

I feel your pain with your ds, Roonetta. I dragged mine on a run to the bank for pe class today. Apparently a stitch is even worse than a a post graze acid bath Hmm.

KB&T L1D7 & 30DS L2D9 (65 min) and somehow still not at 10,000 steps yet.

Hope WOs 7 and 8 go well Roonetta. I like that quote. -so true. And can be applied in so many situations.

So you actually did the workout twice Motherforkin! And the stitch v. acid bath comment made me laugh Grin

You are making me curious about my steps per day oubliette. Must remember to ask DC for a watch to track mine,

Day 27 of the two challenges plus strength for abs and butt and then a Cat Muffin strong and stretchy yoga flow. Yoga always makes me feel so healthy (even though it's not (usually) as dynamic and sweaty as running or HIIT).

roonetta · 27/01/2021 13:32

The stitch made me smile Motherforkin. I bet it was "all your fault" too Grin

Loving Cat 'Muffin' Sophie - is that a type of yoga where you get to eat cake at the same time? Cake

Felt too tired to do Jillian's BS cardio 2 today and was going to do a WWL instead. I settled on Cardio 1 from Body Revolution. It's amazing to see how much fitter I have become since the last time I attempted it. And even though running man is in every single warm up of BS, I still hated doing a whole minute of it in this WO Hmm

roonetta · 27/01/2021 15:35

BR cardio 1 must have woken me up - just added Killer Cardio level 2 as well 😊

OublietteBravo · 27/01/2021 19:37

30DS L2D10 & KB&T L2D7 (70 min). I’m incredibly glad that I’ve completed level 2 of 30DS. I hate that level so much!

Argh I wrote cat muffin?! 🤣 really must read over my posts!!

Good that you're noticing how much fitter you're becoming Roonetta 👏🏻

Did day 28 of my two challenges today so I don't fall behind but didn't do anything else so not counting it as an exercise day. Didn't sleep well and feeling very down about covid. Just feel as though our schools will open Monday and then Everything will shut again. Each time they open the shops, cases start to creep back up. Very sad I can't see my family either.... I'm sure lack of sleep is exacerbating it all.

roonetta · 28/01/2021 15:35

With you on the hate for L2 Oubliette.

Sorry to hear you are feeling low Sophie. I am struggling more than ever at the moment and this is the worst I have felt since it all began. I think it’s a combination of the weather, dark mornings and no end in sight to the endless lockdowns. I think I can see a tiny glimmer of light at the end of a very long tunnel though, so fingers crossed the weather will soon start to improve, the number of vaccinations will increase and things will slowly return to some normality. Flowers

Attempted WO7 of BS today. When Jillian said at the beginning that even she does some of the push up combinations on her knees, I knew I was in trouble. I won’t ever be able to do some of the moves, especially the sissy squat (spelling). I’ve added a picture so you can all have a go Grin. Never gonna happen here.

What is going on in that photo @roonetta (actually I probably don’t want to know)!

Cat muffin is such a fabulous autocorrect @SophieLion Grin

KB&T L3D7 & 30DS L3D1 (65 min). Both of which have evil rockstar jumps in them just FYI.

What is he doing Roonetta?! It looks a bit like a side arm balance we do in yoga! Or is he doing some kind of plank mogul jump?! Or is he actually doing push ups??????? Clearly he is crazy and very hardcore GrinGrin

5km interval run today plus day 29 of the abs and glutes challenges - only one more day to go!

MotherForkinShirtBalls · 29/01/2021 12:53

Hope you're both feeling better today, Sophie and Roonetta. I had a couple of bad days too, so I decided to allow some time to embrace the wallowing and get over it today. I was up early for a run and I realise that's what I'm going to have to do to get through this - run outside no matter how crap I feel. I'm also hoping to get down for a quick dip this afternoon as a reward for surviving another week of homeschooling.

Happy weekend everyone.

roonetta · 29/01/2021 13:43

He is in fact doing a side arm balance Sophie and Oubliette. Can you do them Sophie?! Jillian calls them sissy squats and you are supposed to get into that ridiculous position and then come out of it and jump before going straight back into it. I can't even get into position so any tips for doing this would be greatly received Grin

My rock star jumps have improved since doing BS Oubliette because there are so many of them, including a set which goes from rock star to tuck jump and back to rock star. I agree they are vile though.

Glad to hear your running is helping you through Motherforkin. Hope you get to have your sea swim. I find that my workout is the only thing I have to look forward to each day so I get where you are coming from.

BS WO8 done. Nowhere near as difficult as WO7 although it was challenging. I have come to the conclusion that I prefer the 'pull' days rather than the 'push' days.

OublietteBravo · 29/01/2021 20:33

I did a shorter cardio workout this evening: BFBM (50 min)

(25/225; 26h 25min)

OP posts:
SophieLion · 30/01/2021 08:47

Oh I think he is doing the side crow pose (yoga) Roonetta. I've never tried that. I can do the normal (forward) crow pose and a different kind of side arm balance but I think the side crow balance is harder. And I certainly couldn't be jumping in and out of that position!!

Good luck with the running MotherForkin.

Did day 30 (the last day!!!!) of the two challenges plus Hard Body L2

MotherForkinShirtBalls · 30/01/2021 19:37

Sanity saving run today. I went a bit further than I originally planned which was hard but felt good (only 5 mins, but still). The weather has been horrendous so no swimming unfortunately.

18/222

MotherForkinShirtBalls · 31/01/2021 17:39

Another run in the rain. It stops my face getting quite so red. I haven't quite hit my 20 days this month but I should be able to pull it back over the next few weeks.

19/221.

roonetta · 31/01/2021 18:02

Two rest days for me.

I have found my next challenge once I complete BS in just over a week. There is a 10 week programme by Caroline Girvan which I am going to attempt (shhh don’t tell Jillian!). I have been watching some of her workouts on YouTube and did one on Friday which I really enjoyed. I’m going to need it since I have just stuffed two slices of Dominos doner kebab pizza and a cookie Blush

OublietteBravo · 31/01/2021 19:44

I had a planned rest day yesterday, and I’ve just done 30DS L3D2 and KB&T L1D8 (65 min). I’ve also managed over 15,000 steps today.

(26/224; 27h 30min)

I’m off to google Caroline Girvan @roonetta. I think perhaps a bit of variety could be a good thing.

OP posts:
SophieLion · 01/02/2021 07:31

I also stuffed my face yesterday Roonetta - still
Feel Full Actually (but also
Hungry as haven't eaten breakfast - odd feeling full and hungry at same time).

I am
Also a bit intrigued by Caroline girvan.

A cat Meffan vinyasa yoga flow today plus short sessions for core and glutes.

Days exercised 27

roonetta · 01/02/2021 13:57

Let me know what you think about Caroline Girvan ladies. I might be a bit optimistic doing the normal programme and might need to revert to the beginners programme Hmm

BS WO7 done. I managed to do rock n roll squats for the first time ever. I saw a tip where someone said to use dumbbells and this gives you more leverage when you are standing back up, and it worked!

OublietteBravo · 01/02/2021 19:41

I’ve only got as far as watching a bit on YouTube at lunchtime @roonetta. Can’t rush these things Grin

Meanwhile I’m continuing with Jillian: KB&T L2D8 and 30DS L3D3 (65 min)

MotherForkinShirtBalls · 01/02/2021 21:29

I did a pe class with ds today, half an hour of trampolining, which meant my legs were not happy with a run this evening.

20/220

SophieLion · 02/02/2021 06:57

Hard body L1 plus a short abs session

Forgot to look up Caroline g. Will try to today.

Is it the EPIC II you will do Roonetta?

I might do some of it but don't want to commit to every day as like doing yoga and running as well. I've printed the schedule off so might try to get through it in my own time. I think each time you do one of her warm ups and then the workout for the day you're on?

roonetta · 02/02/2021 13:58

It was Epic 1 I was looking at Sophie but I think they are the same format; one of her warm ups and then a different workout each day. I am kidding myself I will end up looking like her (well a much older version of her anyway 😆). I have to say some of the workouts are longer than I’m used to, but I will see how I get on.

BS WO8 done ✅
