boobz max 30 is on VK as I have been doing it on there. Just register, go to Communities and find one called Insanity and then you will find all the beachbody videos there. I attach my laptop to the tv so it plays on there.

Mission size 14 by Xmas starts when I get back with the 5:2 diet plus exercise (either running or T25 / Max 30) 5 times a week. Now I have written it down, I need all your support to get me there!

Wow - Shaun T is a lot meaner in Max:30 if the Cardio Challenge one is anything to go by! I maxed out at 16 minutes and 50 seconds, it was the planky things where you touch your shoulder that got me!

I finally faced the scales this morning - it's not as bad as I though - I was right about no longer being 8 stone 9 - but I'm only 8 stone 11, I'll take that!

Ah go on then, suppose I'd better post my befores and afters - I can only find the side ones not the front ones though! I really don't think I look much different, although I was either 9st 3 or 9st 4 when I started, and feel firmer now all over (especially my arms)so it must have gone from somewhere! Blue top is before, black top is after.

Well done Eleanor! You definitely look more toned. I bet you're also really fit. Have you tried doing something that you did before insanity to test it? Sorry - it may have been you that said that your running was faster? Glad you enjoyed Cardio challenge. Doesn't Shaun t also max at the shoulder taps so you're in good company!

I managed to hang on longer in Friday fight 2 this week and maxed at 10mins (6 last week). I was slow and stopping loads by the end so I'd say there is room for improvement....

Boobz - I'm short and mousy blond with glasses. I'll need to change out of work stuff first so will prob be there a little bit early. Could we just meet by the entrance to the class? It's like a blind date Grin

Yes - I will be interviewing people as they go in - "are you purple?, are YOU purple?" - people will think I am bonkers. Am sure we will be able to work it out.

Annoyingly the places booked so fast I couldn't book a slot for us to both run next to each other, but they've said I can ask on the day to see if we can swap around based on a cancellation/no show. The whole class of 40 places was booked up with 58 seconds apparently. Crazy.

Well done Eleanor - can defo see the difference in the second photo (despite being a crap photographer - you need to get your friend/partner to take the photo next time so you can really see the muscle definition get better!)

So I managed to sleep through my alarm this morning and miss my 7:10am Barry's (cross face). Am now sat at chemo and annoyed I am not all buzzing from my work out. Am not surprised I slept through though - the last 4 days have been a nightmare - looking after the 3 kids on my own in someone else's house in London (ok with a little help from my mum) whilst DH was on a stag do, followed by a nightmare day yesterday (DH forgot the passports so they missed their flight back to Rome - had to trek all the way across London to get them, meet him at Victoria Station with 3 bored, annoying children, re-book new flights for £600 and then entertain them all until 6 hours later before they could go and get flight (which was delayed - my poor poor DH! They didn't get back into Rome until 4am!)

Anyway, that's a bit of a digression, but I really did enjoy my lie in as a result!

Thanks Onlywhen for the VK tutorial - will sort today post chemo.

Funny how we've all had a bit of a binge on the diet at the same time. I have basically taken a week off due to yet another holiday (can you tell I have cancer and therefore have decided to just have an Italian's attitude to August holidays? - i.e. take the whole month off/you only live once etc) but back on the Zone diet today.

Boobz I think it is the same day and time mon th at 18.40, hope I went for the right place - London Central? I have paid but assume I will be able to transfer the token to another day if a place doesn't come up Confused DP is off on mon so it actually would have been a good op for an evening class. Looking forward to an update on how it went from you and Purple if a place doesn't come up Grin
Your day yesterday sounds like a mare, £600 ouch ... I would prob still be in nervous breakdown mode right now, have some Wine

Chemo looking like it will be cancelled today due to low white blood cell count. Still, means I can do the 21:00 Barry's class tonight instead!

yes - 58 seconds to book up the whole class! It's because it's an 18:40 one.

Managed to get into the 16:15 class this afternoon so no need to stay up that late now. Just been told chemo is cancelled so am about to slope off now.

Well done on the extra Barry's, Boobz. Sorry your chemo schedule didn't go to plan.

Rest day today. Yesterday I did a 30 min interval session (3 mins high resistance, 3 mins low, repeat) and really pushed myself - could hardly walk by the end!

Only hope you're having a good holiday. Are you back now? I tried to find that insanity community on VK but either didn't find the right one or am otherwise not looking in the right place, as I can't see any videos from in the community. (I can find the general videos tab and have searched there and found lots of t25 stuff including gamma, but no max 30.)

Hello again! Been a bit rubbish this holiday but back on it now :) just completed week one t25 alpha and hardly used the modifier. My pelvic floor must be improving!

Morning all - I am currently sat on a sunbed on a very peaceful morning (you are not allowed to reserve sunbeds until 8am so you have to sit on them till 8 Grin but it gives me half an hour of peace from the DC to chill). Anyway my thoughts are a long way from Shaun T at the moment Wink

But I am missing the exercise and will be re starting on Tuesday with a fast and some T 25 Smile

Nice to see everyone here - glad Fullsteam is coming back soon as I have missed her.

boobz have you searched in communities for Insanity? The cover photo is of Shaun T and that Tony bloke from P90x. Max 30 is definitely there - worth looking again to save you some £££

jackster yes that is the correct one but it doesn't look like that on mine Hmm I have a section headed 'other' and if you expand that you get a list of stuff including videos (see screenshot). Does that help??

Only - I love the idea of you getting up at dawn for a sun lounger. This must be why I never get one!
Have had a motivation slump. Just couldn't be bothered to work out yesterday so I didn't. Was scared it was a slippery slope so got back on it today. I didn't have a good workout tho. I guess sometimes it just feels harder, right?
Am wondering whether I need to switch my day round and exercise before work. It seems possible now as I'm getting a proper nights sleep, but at the same time getting up at 5.15 seems pretty mental. I guess I'll have to try it to see. Shock
Boobz - that's a pain re the chemo. I love that instead of just sloping off home or going for a cake you did a Barry's workout!

Afternoon - I have started The Body Coach - I'm still all nocturnal after being on night shifts so was batch cooking til 4am - I now have a fridge/freezer full of healthy meals though!
I've decided to mix up the workouts a bit, I did HIIT on the treadmill yesterday, and a 5.7 mile run the day before - and today I did Max:30 Tabata Power. I enjoyed it - I'm a bit of a masochist for a nice tricep burn! Maxed out just before 11 minutes on this one at the jumpy push-up things, I struggle with normal ones let alone having to jump at the same time!

Rest day tomorrow :)

Boobz - yep my photos are a bit shit, I got DP to take my before ones for the Body Coach though so I'll have some better ones! Grin

Purple - I considered getting up early to do my workout when I start work at 9, then quickly changed my mind again, I am really not a morning person at all.

Started week 2 of t25 this morning. Pelvic floor was struggling with the jumps Blush so I used the modifier as necessary.

Hello everybody, remember me???!!!

I've just spent last couple of days reading back pages and pages of all your hard working out!

You are all soooo sweet to think of me when I've been a lazy shit sitting on my backside all summer. I'm feeling much better now and ready to get back into proper exercising (done a bit of running here and there over the hols but not much). Couple of weeks ago decided to do a max30 cardio challenge and thought I was going to die, could hardly walk for three days after!!!

Anyway, my plan is to restart on T25 to ease me back into it and I'm thinking of doing 5:2 alongside it. I do need to be a lot more careful with eating though as I clearly pushed myself too far last time and I don't want a repeat of that.

Having read this whole thread now i can honestly say im so privileged to be a part of such an amazing group, you guys all rock and are a true inspiration! Bring on Monday and T25 Alpha :)))
