I've just done day one of the 30 day shred! anyone else with me?

And then I ate a bowl of shredded wheat! Virtuous or what!!

Does anyone else want to keep me on the straight and narrow company?

Haven't managed the shred today - my elbow and knee are killing me. It feels like both joints have been over extended and it now hurts to straighten them out - am I doing the exercises wrong somehow?

Having a break today but will be back tomorrow hopefully!

Mostlycakes you poor thing. Take a couple of days rest and then I'm sure you will be back with a vengeance.

Drank over 2litres of water, day 1 of Dukan diet completed!! Might try 30d shed tomorrow morning but replace all the cardio with lots of the punching in a squat position.

Mostlycake shall we start our water challenge tomorrow? I always remember to drink water just nego Igo to bed which isn't really great!

I'm doing day 7 tonight as my baba is waking up a few times in the night. I'm shattered by the time she is in bed. Feeling determined though.

Eveyone is doing so well. Xx

3rd day of Dukan Diet and I've lost 1.5kg. Probably all water but I'm taking any weight loss as progress. My foot is getting better so will try and get back to 30DS this evening. I've struggled to sleep when I haven't done any exercise...so strange!!

How is everyone doing? How is the water challenge going.....I've been drinking at least 2litres every day.

Fell of the exercise wagon last two days. Felt rubbish about my tummy as I still look pregnant 8 months later. Gona Get back on it tonight. Need some motivation!lol.xx

Did day 8 yesterday, starting to notice a slight difference. Although this may just be wishful thinking! My knee feels a bit sore today so I'm taking a day off, hopefully it will be alright tomorrow and I can crack on. It feels odd not doing it.

I've not done it for DAYS! Travelled north to the DGPs and a combination of crap meant I didn't get in until after 10pm on Wednesday instead of 2pm so I was knackered. Still had a sore elbow yesterday so no shredthen either.....will try today!!

My DM had made 4 dozen (yes I did say 4!) chocolatemuffins and ive done my very best to help her get through them.....oops.....

So annoyed had to have more treatment on my foot today so out of action again. I did 3 more days but hopefully i can be back on Sunday. Went on a day out with family and was so good resisting all the goodies, at least still on track with Dukan diet.

Starting the water challenge again today. And also making sure I get at least my 5 a day. Need to detox after a visit to my folks!

My arm is still sore and achey. That's almost a week of rest and it's not healed.....

Hi guys, can I join in with you all?

I did day one of shred earlier, it's my third attempt, my knees usually let me down so going to get some knee supports.

Following slimming world too. Have my sisters wedding in 3 weeks so hoping for a few lbs off by then!

How are the elbows today MostlyCake

Can I join in? I did 6 days, and was really enjoying it and it actually felt surprisingly possible that I'd move on to level 2 after 10 days. But then my back started hurting.

It's right in the middle of my upper back, between my shoulder blades, and it hurts when I land when doing jumping jacks/skipping ropes. I took a day off, and then tried again for a day, but if anything it's worse. Going to take two days off this time.

Any advice? I've not been doing the abs (substituting easier things from my post-natal dvd) as I've a 4 month old baby, and not sure if my abs are up to it. I have been jogging from 5 or 6 weeks with no probs (until DS starting bottle refusing, hence the need for a dvd).

Hi seaweed no advice I'm afraid, it's usually my knees that give way on me.

Oops....The thread has died....my elbow and knee are still knackered. I think it's a combination of crap trainers, too much weight on my poor knees when jumping and not paying attention to form during press ups and weights.

I'm going to look for a class and try that instead...planning to still post here though if anyone is still around?!

Sorry - missed the reply on this! My back is a lot better, thanks. I think I'm going to go back to my post-natal dvd for a few weeks, before trying the shred again.
