I've just done day one of the 30 day shred! anyone else with me?

Does anyone else want to keep me on the straight and narrow company?

Day 6 L1 hard finding the motivation to get out of bed but after hearing jillian motivate my butt into gear I was skipping, jumping etc as if my life depended on it.
BoFo I bought the dvd for £5 from amazon. I'm not sure if level3 is on you tube

Whoa! Day 1 Level 1 done - feel ok for now. Maybe have a bit more muscle tone than I thought.I'll probably feel it later and tomorrow is likely to be more of a struggle!

Good to know the introduction levels are on youtube, if I ever make it up to level three £5 is fairly reasonably priced!

Day 4 done. I don't know about anyone else but I look forward to doing this dvd now. I'm trying to healthy eat too, don't want to ruin the calories I have burnt.

I need to drink more water...anyone want to do a drinking water challenge, as in trying to drink a certain amount per day?

I haven't done today's yet..... we had no broadband this morning then I went out....waiting for my dinner to go down, I should have waited and eaten after.....

Aaaaaah!

I'm up for the water challenge - how much are you aiming for? I drank 3 litres a day for a week and felt amazing but fell off that wagon as well....

Day 3 level 1 done today. Not done exercise for so long and everything aching! I'm using muscles I obviously don't normally but up and down the stairs... ouch!

Day 6......DONE!

I asked my dh to spot for me to make sure I was doing the exercises properly and for the most part was just a minor correction of stance etc but.....i have been doing the bicycle crunches spectacularly wrong.....i haven't been watching the screen while doing them, just listening to the instructions and I had no idea there was actual stomach crunches as well! I was just doing bicycle legs while congratulating myself on how well I was doing Blush

Just been out for 5 yr anniversary dinner, ate too much and then had two scoops of ice cream. Eyes much bigger than my stomach, now too stuffed to sleep. Taking it easy tomorrow and back to exercise and diet on Monday.
I'm up for water challenge but not sure my bladder could handle 3 litres :-)

SchroSaw hello! Glad you're here! Careful you don't overdo it - I was running and shredding last time I tried and all the impact gave me terrible shin splints. So painful to do anything I packed it all in....

Shall we start with 3 pints a day for this week and then increase next week? It's a start. Day 5 done for me today when my baby girl goes to bed.x

Day 4 done. I actually managed the jumping jacks properly rather than just waving my arms manically over my head and wishing my legs would move!

Whoop whoop! We are all doing so well!! So impresses we've stuck at it.

That's day 7 done as we went to the road race today at the Commonwealth and walked a good few km (had to park miles away). Feeling very virtuous will just not mention the brownie and carrot cake we ate while at the games

TwistedThinking excellent! It's a bit of a buzz when you manage to do something you know you couldn'tdo at the start of the shred - I'm sometimes following Natalie rather than Anita!

Girl84 3 pints from tmro? I have hardly drank a drop today, am so thirsty I could probably down 3 pints this evening though!

Just did day 6, had an unexpected day off yesterday. But I'm definitely finding it's getting easier. It's the abs I find hardest to get through, I must have really poor muscle tone lol.

I really struggle to drink enough generally so maybe I should aim for 3 pints of water too.

I'm really achey today and my elbow is killing me... think I'll have to forgo arm weights completely until the pain has gone - think I might have over - extended my elbow joint?

DachshundGirl I have a pint of water on my beside table and neck it when I get up, sometimes it's the only glass of water I have until lunchtime so it does help having it there!

Happy Monday!! Been an indulgent weekend....but today is a new day. Unfortunately I'm out of action on the 30d shed this week as had treatment on my foot, but next week I'm coming back strong.

I have started the Dukan Diet this week to compensate for no exercise. I will keep you posted on progress. Weighing in at 123.4lbs....9lbs to lose!!

Sitting at me desk at work with a big jug of water, just had one small glass...

Hi again, I didn't manage yesterday as only had 3 hours sleep and was in a rush. I'm going to do it im about 30 minutes as my DGM is taking my older toddler in to town for a while. :)

Mostly Will try not to over do it. I had terrible shin splints last year from running and over doing the gym.
