He is not evil in your opinion.

I beg to differ.

History will judge.

Farage is merely the antidote to the venom that is Labour.

Those who voted Labour at the last GE have brought this upon themselves.

Linenpickle · 30/09/2025 07:13

He can’t be any worse than labour. At least he’s trying to salvage what is left of Britain.

No, those who vote for far right parties need to own their own choices.

Vote for whoever you choose but take responsibility. Stop trying to shift the blame.

Nobody is forcing anyone to choose Reform. There are other alternatives.

No blame shifting here.

I am very clear.

He can be worse than Labour though. He can be much worse.

If you elect him, you will find out.

Good. We are in agreement then that those who choose to vote for Reform will be responsible if Reform end up in power. And they will be to blame for the chaos and suffering that will inevitably ensue.

People should be careful of what they wish for.

Nitgel · 30/09/2025 07:42

If you like Farage did you vote for.Brexit? Because the illegal.immigrants have increased significantly since we left the eu.

Nitgel · 30/09/2025 07:46

I also wonder how.many farage supporters are not londoners and do not understand how we need an immigrant workforce like every.major city.

Farage is a narcissist politician and feeds on fear not progression.

Oh I would willingly accept Reform to see out
Labour.

I embrace it, in fact.

The same way many of those who voted for Labour did so strategically to see off the Tories.

The irony.

gymbummy · 30/09/2025 08:22

Absolute prick. Snake oil salesman who'll say whatever it takes to ensure the vote of the hard of thinking.

What has Labour done to upset you?

LaraLiving · 30/09/2025 08:32

Labour were weak as an opposition and are even worse in power

Not just me - evidently millions of us (and rising).

Nitgel · 30/09/2025 08:44

So what specifically?

PistachioTiramisu · 30/09/2025 08:49

At least he has some charisma, unlike dull, pasty-faced Starmer!

NigelFaragesFakeRoarofLaughter · 30/09/2025 08:55

What I do like about him is he is very plain speaking. If asked a question, he will give a direct answer that's easy to interpret and understand. There's no waffle or avoidance tactics.

If you ask Nigel a tricky question, you'll see me pronto.

How is Nige doing as MP?
In the last year -
He has spoken fewer times in parliament than any other leader of a British political party with a seat in Westminster.
Farage 45 times.

Kemi Badenoch 226
Ed Davey 97

Carla Denyer 152
Adrian Ramsay 86

He's voted fewer times than the others
Farage 91 times.

Kemi Badenoch 92
Ed Davey 111
Carla Denyer 205
Adrian Ramsay 178

In May 2025 Farage went on on holiday while parliament was sitting, meaning he didn’t turn up to a debate on the government’s post-Brexit EU negotiations.

Since 4 July 2024 Farage has made almost £970,000 from numerous second jobs,

SeaAndStars · 30/09/2025 09:00

When Nigel Farage was an MEP his attendance was so poor that he rated 748th out of 751 MEPs in terms of attendence.

He didn't attend to vote for 80% of the votes that happened when he was an MEP.

Fishing is something you'd believe was dear to his hear given his 'British fishing only in British waters' stance and so you won't be surprised to know that as an MEP he was part on the EU fisheries committee.
During his time on the committee it met 42 times. Farage attended just one meeting.

Whilst he was MEP he had 10 different side jobs.

The man is an unmitigated grifting bogie.

To be fair, asylum applications increased significantly in the EU as well - look at the graph here;

https://ec.europa.eu/eurostat/statistics-explained/index.php?title=Asylum_applications_-_annual_statistics

During the last asylum crisis (10 years ago), countries such as Germany and Sweden agreed to take in the bulk of asylum seekers, those countries are no longer prepared to do so.

I'm very concerned about Farage's (and Reform's) connections with Russia and wouldn't trust them in the slightest. Why did Farage appear multiple times on Russia Today, a TV channel controlled by the Kremlin? And why are Russia bribing Reform Wales?

Those who voted Labour at the last GE have brought this upon themselves.

This is a childish attitude. If you want to vote for Reform, then that's your choice and your responsibility.
