With the Windsor framework up & running, and the DUP having a "you could set your calendar by it" hissy fit, but Irish unification refusing to keep it's head down, what next in the long running sage of UK vs. the real world ?

The real world was such a lovely place. I miss it 😢

Slightly OT (more like OTT) but I notice all of a sudden, there's a ceasefire on people being too ill to work.

In other news the Princes of Wales is receiving treatment for cancer and resting from work Royal Duties until further notice.

Honestly, we’re looking at a new Taoiseach, who will need to act on housing, healthcare and several other more pressing matters before reunification even figures.

Three word quotes are snappy. Back at the end of the last thread we had a link from Chris Patten. He came up with the best three word one:

Brexit is bilge.

I'm just leaving this here, because I can. The big tabby is a British moggy. The ginger and white one is an EU immigrant (from Romania).

The stupid, it burns!

Liz Truss on CNBC News has sought to clarify what she means by the deep state: "It's deep, meaning a very long way down. We know it's there but obviously not exactly what it is because it's so deep. I mean really deep. But it's dangerous and working all the time to destabilise."

Total waste of time. If the does diverge from the GDPR agreed with the EU, it'll lose equivalence and bring a fucktonne of processes and procedures onto UK businesses.

It's exactly what I did with my pension investments - Brexit writ large across my future, overseas stuff doing relatively well.
