Not Sunak he's not that brilliant.

yoikes · 14/09/2020 21:55

Thoughts on Ellwood?

BigChocFrenzy · 14/09/2020 22:06

None of them are brilliant
I'd settle for sober, reasonably intelligent, actually wants a deal (feasible, not fantasy deal)

BigChocFrenzy · 14/09/2020 22:07

And not in the gang with Gove, Cummings, Murdoch or the ERG

wherearemychickens · 14/09/2020 22:07

They got rid of all those Tory MPs last year

GirlsBlouse17 · 14/09/2020 22:08

Pmk

BigChocFrenzy · 14/09/2020 22:10

Anyone think we could get that next Spring, or will we have to wait for the next leader but one ?

Or maybe even later, for a Tory reality check to take effect
How long did it take for the Brexshitters to take over the party ? That long ?

mrslaughan · 14/09/2020 22:10

Tugendaht is my sisters MP ..... they had a meeting in their village about Gatwick expansion (pre-Covid - non issue now 😳) . There were two "locals" who had been in senior roles involved around gov. They were so much more impressive than him..... well intentioned and nice of him to show up, but really no help. Maybe it's inexperience? But you think you would turn up for a meeting like that well briefed.
I imagine he's hiding from most of his constituents now with Kent becoming the country's lorry park.....

Auld this is your neck of the woods, is it not?

Sostenueto · 14/09/2020 22:14

I'm in bed now so won't know result yet though have radio on. They gonna pass it tonight I know but jolly good show for opposition.☹️

GirlsBlouse17 · 14/09/2020 22:23

I turned up to the show late. Where's everyone in the commons?!

prettybird · 14/09/2020 22:26

Voting. Because of social distancing, it takes an age.

Menomadness · 14/09/2020 22:26

Any idea quickest place I can see the voting by each MP? My MP is a toe the line Tory so I guess I know which way he will vote. Hmm

Menomadness · 14/09/2020 22:28

Apologies I didn't introduce myself. I have read all these threads but never seem to have anything useful to add as you are all much more knowledgeable than me. These threads are my daily go to for sanity though so thank you.

wherearemychickens · 14/09/2020 22:31

Well. Acrimonious no deal here we come, or are the Lords going to save us from that fate?

GirlsBlouse17 · 14/09/2020 22:32

So have they voted for Boris's Bill?

BigChocFrenzy · 14/09/2020 22:34

former chancellor Javid joining the rebels

... Hi meno Welcome aboard
Peregrina · 14/09/2020 22:38

Javid of course, having fallen foul of Cummings, doesn't owe Johnson any loyalty.

Sostenueto · 14/09/2020 22:39

It will get through tonight to next stage do we find the quickest route out of UK? Or do we panic at end of week.

Depends on whether you are locked down or not and able to leave your county.

... After the vote has happened, I think you can check how each MP voted here:
