Ed Miliband is excellent.

Sostenueto · 14/09/2020 17:13

Oh wow! Milliband go go go! Boris would not get up to answer back 🤣🤣🤣

JamieLeeCurtains · 14/09/2020 17:18

This is awesome. This is something special from Miliband.

DGRossetti · 14/09/2020 17:18

Well we can all go and shoot some animals, if we want to meet in a group of more than 6

Herman Johnson ... or Boris Goering. Not sure which fits better.

Well Ed Milliband, this is your moment! Johnson looks utterly livid, and so he bloody well should!

JamieLeeCurtains · 14/09/2020 17:22

He is saying everything I've thought for 9 bloody months.

DGRossetti · 14/09/2020 17:25

He probably overestimated his own abilities (not sure why I'd think that) and more importantly actually swallowed the anti-Milliband propaganda of the 2015 election. Hopefully he wishes he had stayed away after all.

I bet he'll say he was "stitched up" - it's never his fault.

I can only work from your descriptions, as I am banned from viewing anything live since the last device hit the wall.

Can't stand Sir Bill Cash ( most of it offshore)

JamieLeeCurtains · 14/09/2020 17:28

Bill Cash is as thick as Johnson

DGRossetti · 14/09/2020 17:29

The old student joke about Thatcher, Cash and Wonder from the 80s springs to mind ....

Same here.
No live politics allowed in this house till we are back to two incomes.
Cannot affordto break the telly when we still have 40 Midsomer Murders to watch on catch up Grin

JamieLeeCurtains · 14/09/2020 17:32

I am trying to see if Johnson has snuck out yet for his pint of brandy and some powder.

FrankieStein402 · 14/09/2020 17:32

That really was brilliant from milliband - an excoriation that has been far too long in coming - why why has de pfeffel escaped this for so long.

JamieLeeCurtains · 14/09/2020 17:34

Yes, I believe Johnson has fucked off out of the House

Ian Blackford speaking now

DGRossetti · 14/09/2020 17:34

It's a longstanding convention that leaders of other nations are treated with as much contempt as possible.
HoneysuckIejasmine · 14/09/2020 17:36

Can anyone précis what Milliband said?

JamieLeeCurtains · 14/09/2020 17:37

Indeed, @DGRossetti, indeed. So bloody immature.

Sostenueto · 14/09/2020 17:38

Johnson just buggered off out of chamber as Ian Blackford talking. He's no gentleman is he?

Sostenueto · 14/09/2020 17:40

Blackford not voting for amendment to bill put up by labour but won't vote against it. Abstaining. We need those notes to get amendment to bill through.

TokyoSushi · 14/09/2020 17:42

@Honeysucklejasmine He basically says you're a lying, incompetent twat, this is your deal, you negotiated, you better own it. PS everybody else thinks you're a twat too, we're all horrified that you're quite happy to break international law, you're a disgrace!

Or something like that!

HoneysuckIejasmine · 14/09/2020 17:46

Thank you! Bravo Ed!

It was a long speech (I presume standing in for Keir Starmer?)

He let rip.

To Johnson: You're either incompetent or you didn't read your own 'oven ready deal' properly. You signed this off. And anyway, the existing 'deal' already contains the protections you're supposedly after. You are controlled by Cummings. There is now a Cummings-controlled 'Johnson law' which is shameful for the country that founded international law. You insult us all. I'll give way so you can respond. Oh you're just going to sit there, never ever in your life taking a single bit of responsibility for anything? We, the Labour benches, will not vote for this.

hanahsaunt · 14/09/2020 17:46

Was Cummings road trip a road test of the specific and limited defence?

Sadly it's a little bit like having a top dance hall band on the Titanic.
