The Tories being decimated in Scotland means sweet FA. There have been a whole series of Parliaments where there hasn't been a single Scottish Conservative MP or just a single one (Fluffy Mundell).

I wonder what the Queen is thinking about? Looking forward to Boris popping in to ask her if he can form a government?

LD vote was higher than expected.

But that does tally with what i've heard. Lots of people saying LD cos they couldn't vote Corbyn.

Great to see Swinson gone. The Labour Party and its media acolytes have spent years giving the middle finger to their traditional voter base. They have returned the favour. This is the upshot. Labour has become the party of students and London. Time to look in the mirror Labour.

I know what you mean with regard to Scotland having no Conservative MPs, and that the decimation of the Tories is not of any consequence.

But it is just a little comforting to see their share of the vote getting less, after watching the first couple of hours of the results in England.
