I caught the end half of Boris (in real time 🙄)...

I wasn't impressed with either. It was quite boring I thought. When marr says... You've been in for 9 years why wasn't this changed.. Why didn't Boris just say, it wasn't me per se in and brexit has dominated 5 years of politics?

I hope on Andrew Neil he is simply more than honest and open? Andrew marr seems to dispair with Boris, flat, no energy.

I suspect Andrew Neil however has more sympathy with what Boris has been up agaisnt, but won't give him an easy ride either.
Andrew marr just spoke to him like a sad resigned interviewer being reduced to talking to the likes of Boris...

The problem is, Boris has to schmooze him, he is the leader of our most powerful Ally. It’s diplomacy and what one would rightly expect of any prime minister. Such bad timing though, as it will inevitably be trotted out by the left that they are best fwiends etc... 🙄

Marr was terrible this morning,just kept interrupting.I think he must have thought I will show him how tough I can be if he won't be interviewed by Andrew Neil. Compare and contrast with Sophy Ridge on Sky who interviewed Jeremy Corbyn, Ed Davey, and Dominic Raab with insightful questions and managed to listen to their answers without interrupting.

I'd like to believe that the increasingly appalling behaviour we are seeing from the self-identified-tolerant Left is extinction burst. I did enjoy the authors summary but it was obvious early on the slant was from far left glasses.

This perversely is why I like Boris changing his mind. I dislike that rigid, brainwashed extreme way of looking at everything through one lens.
They miss and misunderstand so much.

Nicola sturgeon and Corbyn just hate the torys because they are tories. If the tories did stamp out child poverty they would twist it into something else.

I feel sorry for the author, I’m not sure even she could have predicted the monster she had ultimately created. She is measured and thoughtful, albeit with differing opinions to ours, I have a lot of respect and time for her arguments, despite disagreeing in principle, she also doesn’t seem to resort to petty insults, or indulge in complete denial of any facts that don’t reiterate her own personal narrative.

Good point! A new perspective I had not considered, I do however have some sympathy for those who find it difficult to pick a party right now, there are so many conflicting and important issues which many people understandable feel conflicted about. Homeless is prob not the best way to describe it though, I agree.
