Epic it is weird who's leaking the documents surely they must have signed the official secrets Act so hopefully GCHQ is on it. On a serious note it does underline how dangerous Corbyn and his cohorts are for national security. If I was one of the other five eyes countries I would be making plans to block UK participation because Labour cannot be trusted. That makes all of us less safe!

Grannie lives in a Scottish Tory marginal. She says her Labour Party literature actually advised her to vote Tory to stop the SNP.

The SNP got told off by the Court of Session for lying about Head Girl Jo. Grannie likes Head Girl Jo for all the reasons I dislike her - clearly still got the chip on my shoulder from endless comparisons with the "good" girls.

DH and I will lose out if Labour get in due to loss of £250 marriage allowance and no increase to NI threshold of £400 once fully rolled out. If we both worked it would be 2 lots of NI. So no, it is not just those on £80k. I wouldn't mind if they were proposing to spend it on those who need it rather than blanket public sector pay rises - my DD3's school has 50% + pupils in the most deprived postcode category - her teachers are already paid far more on average than the parents of their pupils.

I am doubtful about Andrew's dividend income claim because I haven't seen anything proposing scrapping ISA wrappers. However by the time corporation tax rates are hiked there will be no dividend income or capital gains to tax so it's somewhat academic.

I see the Conservative candidate for Argyll & Bute has pointed out that Wee Nippy's determination to use the scrapping of Trident will cost the area something in the region of 11,000 jobs directly or indirectly because...Faslane. It would have been fascinating to hear A&G's sitting MP speak up for the local economy. Yep, he's SNP too. People -v- ideology.

Anyway, I'm back from the suppliers with a few new additions to the menu and range of free bar snacks.

Chip butties and fishfinger barm cakes are now available along with the ever popular bacon rolls.
For those on a pre-Christmas diet and wishing to be strictly Corbz-free, granola bars and crispy seaweed bites.
For the nut-intolerant, a bumper supply of Fruit Loops with plenty of bowls on the bar.

It's not a wide choice but the supplier promises things will look clearer after 12 December.

I'm taking this at face value.

It's not the fact that the chicken is chlorinated, it's that by allowing chlorination you are able to keep your chickens in worse conditions than we currently allow in the UK. Welfare standards are pretty good here.

Just caught up with Andrew vs JC. I honestly don't think JC wanted me to vote for him. He sounded focused on moving the debate leftwards making it easier for Boris to move even more fiscally expansionary post Brexit and to prevent Labour centrists re-emerging once he has retired to his allotment.

He also looked tempted to offer to front the Leave campaign in a 2nd Ref and didn't bother to pretend Labour's proposed new deal would be Leave.

He seemed pretty aware of the glaring holes and inequities in the tax policy and therefore not prepared to defend them.

The other stuff is just white noise now sadly but speaks to the wider issues with identity politics which is a defining problem for the Left. Jenny Kleeman nailed it last night. Once Labour starts appointing itself as the judge of deserving minorities worthy of assistance then there is an obvious issue for everyone else.

Enb there was an issue recently in Scotland. A local school wanted to source its chicken via a local organic farm. It couldn't because the Local Authority wide contract is with a company importing chicken from Thailand. I am not convinced they have higher chicken welfare standards than the US.

Also don't let Rick Stein fool you on average farming practices in France.
