Now I'm really laughing...Labour has apparently been warned today that its unfunded £58bn WASPI bill could double under the terms of its manifesto because they also espouse Self ID. Men born in the 1950s could self-ID (no need for such things as hormones and surgery; just wake up one day et voilà!) and also claim their £31,000.

I've been convinced for some time that all the Bright Young Things who come up with party policies - and I include all parties across the board in this - should have a grumpy, curmudgeonly but knowledgeable old cynic sitting in the corner and pointing out how the law of unintended consequences would apply to their Bright Shiny New Ideas.
