Oh Epic, Edinburgh gin liqueur ! My fav.is Rhubarb and Ginger, I took some as presents to Canada and they loved it to the extent that Nephew - who is the executive chief in a very large resort hotel is trying everything to get it into his bars!!

Anyway back to the election. If you didn't catch the leaders interviews at 7.30pm then it's repeated on BBC parliament at 10.30pm. I missed it so can't wait.

Great news with that poll.

Corbyn will be getting even more desperate. In the coming weeks expect ALL student debt to be written off (its only money). New lies about the NHS being sold given to Trump (the Illuminati). And Momentum rioting about the media being right wing fascists.

Still roller coaster time but we are still leaving the EU for xmas.

The opposition will get extra desperate. Hope the Tories have a good "get the vote out" team. Remember Dominic Cummings said that leaving has consistently been blocked by "powerful forces" using the courts. Couldn’t agree more Dusty and I think somewhere on here I posted something similar along the lines of a large proportion of the remainer posse banging the Brexit/bad economy drum for 4 years but yet wouldn’t think twice about ticking the Labour box and the whole country goes down the 🚾 but it would seem that’s ok

Good reading in that latest poll, have everything crossed that the morning of 13th will yield similar results but will certainly be aware of 🦇.

More than ever I think the stability of finally leaving the EU will stabilise the markets and increase investment into the UK.

I think over next few days we will see the momentum machine really fire up. Watch for social media to be dominated. Watch for multiple MN threads popping up in AIBU.

I suspect labour wanted to keep that nhs “scoop” under their belt until closer to polling day but had to release it early to deflect the Neil interview. No doubt their cranks will be coming up with other disingenuous nonsense to swing the polls back. Could be a rough ride ahead. Not counting any chickens 🐓 here!

Momentum will be mobilising. To be fair have seen posts on MN basically giving the scripts away e.g. go on to threads and challenge people, don’t get angry, re-educate, tell them how great the EU is 🙄 basically same as after the Neil interview.

That poll is too soon, too soon. It's making me really nervous now. What we really need now is a big wobble in the polls next week to scare the bejasus out of everyone and get them to the polling station.

They will have a pretty good indication of which way the political winds are blowing about this time next week. A good chunk of the postal votes will be in and they have to be counted so that postal voters don't, ahem, accidentally vote twice by turning up at the polling station.

About a week before the referendum, I remember reading a snippet somewhere (can't remember where, sadly) saying an "unnamed Cabinet source" had said the postal votes were avalanching in and the results so far "were horrendous". They could only be referring to the Leave vote. That little snippet kept my nerves steady for several days.

I'm giving an elderly neighbour a lift to the polling station on the day but hope to God we don't have a repeat of last time. He went into the booth and then called out, "Where do I put my cross, Lily? Can't you do it for me instead?" He has cataracts and double vision. I thought I was going to have to answer some tough questions about voter interference.

I know Dusty it’s pretty offensive to compare another persons voting choices to having a mental illness but these people see no shame in it.

There is another post that says “WE have three weeks to do a Goebbels” I have no idea what they mean but I know Goebbels was a nazi? So are they implying they want to spread propaganda like nazis? Or something else more sinister?
