I was expecting a red toothbrush design!

Bit late to this thread, but I'm hoping to come, with children. There's a coach from my town but we'll probably get the train because I want the flexibility to head home if the children are too tired (youngest is three). I have been on lots of marches when I was younger but never since I had children so I am slightly nervous about taking them.

Hello - I love this thread! Just wanted to say that I will be going with DH and DS (15) - DS and I are catching a play after the march and making a day out of it!

I have done all pro-EU marches and they are the safest place ever. Really heartwarming and fun!

I just want to add a gentle criticism of a march I saw in York today. The chant was "We demand another day" (or similar). Only it was said as "demahnd" not the way we all say it up here with a short "a". It sounded like some parachuted in posh people with no connection to the local area. If you are doing a rally up here in the North, can I suggest you sound like you are from here?
I gave lots of encouraging smiles and took stickers and leaflets. But I'm a Remain voter so it's not me you need to convince.
