I can't for lots of mundane but sadly real logistical reasons. I've never marched in my life and this was one I wanted to join.
Make noise for me, for my Remain voting late mother and for anyone who can't be there.

KennDodd · 08/10/2018 15:54

Please publicise it @bellinisurge I've heard lots of people who feel strongly anti Brexit have no idea this sort of resistance is taking place.

Where I can@KennDodd .
It was one of my reasons for posting- to reactivate this thread on Active Threads.

I exhort us all to carry red toothbrushes

I exhort us all to carry red toothbrushes

I will!

en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Eliot_Higgins

Higgins is a senior fellow in the Digital Forensic Research Lab (since 2016[22]) and Future Europe Initiative, projects run by the Atlantic Council, a leading US geopolitical strategy think-tank based in Washington, D.C.

Well funny that.

borntobequiet · 09/10/2018 09:55

Posted on wrong thread! but a bump anyway.

Thomasinaa · 10/10/2018 17:41

I've just booked coach tickets. An 11 hour overnight trip.

lalalonglegs · 10/10/2018 18:07

Blimey, Thom, I hope we have good weather for it in that case. You're a Star,

Thomasinaa · 10/10/2018 18:22

I will be staying couple of days to take full advantage of the trip (and catch up on sleep!).

PCPlumsTruncheon · 10/10/2018 18:25

Bump

TheClitterati · 11/10/2018 22:25

I'm
Marching. Will come to london for the day.

Looking for witty sign ideas.

@borntobequiet

Agree with your suggestion - all should carry red toothbrushes or printed signs, t-shirts with RTB etc It is odd/quirky enough to attract attention and have people googling for Westministenders threads which reflect much of national debate/anguish on this issue. Hope you don’t mind @RedToothBrush but it’s time for you to get famous.

There's a Five Million rally at 11am at Speaker's Corner, organised by the 3 million & Brits in Europe, to which we might go first. Told to wear something white. The best I can do is a scarf, but will also definitely have a red toothbrush poking out of my bag 😁
Raking my brain for placards ideas but not come up with anything...

Thomasinaa · 14/10/2018 13:47

If everyone takes their children that will really help with the numbers. It's their future after all.

PCPlumsTruncheon · 14/10/2018 15:31

16 year old DD is going with around 30 pupils from her school and 5 teachers

twofingerstoEverything · 14/10/2018 18:43

Definitely going. It will be my third Brexit march.

Peregrina · 14/10/2018 19:27

My third Brexit march too. I know of others who are unable to go for various reasons, so have said, 'march for me too.'

Bearbehind · 14/10/2018 19:30

DH and I are going.

TeddyIsaHe · 14/10/2018 19:33

I’m not unfortunately, I’ll be dog-sitting for my parents who are going. I’ll be with them in spirit!

KennDodd · 14/10/2018 20:06

Shall we try to meet up?

10 000 young people are leading the march. Smile
Germany just got a satisfying result in Bavaria following 240 000 strong anti extremist marches across the country. Smile
Shall we try to meet up
Would be nice to have a mumsnet chapter, kendodd

So good that schools are represented, not scared of rocking the boat.
