I don't know why it says on the news that we don't have enough trained negotiators for the upcoming discussions. What about all those Mates Down The Pub who knew better than the experts? There are, I keep being told, over 17 million of them.

It's as if 52% of us pushed us off a cliff, while chanting that physicists know nothing. Now they're complaining that nobody warned them about gravity. Meanwhile blaming the other 48% for the fact that we're plummeting, because we're screaming too much and not flapping enough. Also denying that disaster is looming because we haven't hit the ground yet, and maybe there is no ground, maybe it'll be floating clouds of candy floss if we just believe enough.
