Witt, do you think it's childish for me to be sad others are upset? Sad friendships are divided? If so yes, childish I am. It's the result I feel is best but it doesn't mean I'm jubilant over others feelings.

even sicker with dread and uncertainty about the next leader, and the looming threat of farage et al

Kate I think I sort of understand, sort of. But ultimately what you're saying is that you understand your vote to have caused hurt and to have changed people's lives in a negative way.

I would not be sad if we were still in the EU. I would be relieved.

No, I don't think I am. I'm just expressing sadness at others' sadness. The thread asked how I felt and that's the truth. I feel a bit how I felt when my mother died: sad, but a sense we could now move on.

Farage is no threat. He will get to play Big Boy as an MEP for the next year or so but then he and UKIP will have no reason to exist. They have, effectively, put themselves out of business.

Had we Remained they may well have got a huge vote in the next GE.

This morning - sick.
Now I've got over the initial shock - very unsettled.

Scared about what the future holds, especially for my kids, for everyone's kids.

Ashamed. I've never felt so alien in my own country. I hadn't realised that what I thought were British values aren't. We are a country very very divided.

Appalled, if I'm limited to one word.

Good grief! Is this what we have been reduced to? Stop whimpering and feeling sory for yurselves. Dig out that stiff upper lip, that Dunkirk spirit, Keep Calm and Carry On and all that.
