Anyone putting any plans in place in case we leave?

I've just checked the EU referendum current polls and it's looking very close at the moment.

I wondered if anyone is putting plans on hold, or will change any plans they have if we leave?

Personally, I am wracking my brains to think of anything which will directly affect me. Although I wonder if there will economical turmoil and whether to plan for an interest rate rise (our very high mortgage). Which will in turn affect Dhs business.

If we remain, I'd imagine it's just business as usual.

Anyone have any thoughts?

Yeah, you're not much better, Anna

Anna. That's a compliment. Believe me. It is Grin

butteredmuffin · 04/05/2016 23:28

I hardly think that someone who has been pretending to have legal qualifications is in a position to tell me whether I'm fit to represent clients or give legal advice.

SpringingIntoAction · 04/05/2016 23:30

Come on Spring, give us some non Daniel Hannan facts? Or someone who isn't team Brexit. It seems the world has a vested interest in staying in the EU, but to you of course it is to keep the man down and for corporate enjoyment.

Wrong. We will Brexit to regain our freedoms. The insatiabale need to bow to Big Corpa is on the REMAIN side who are grateful to Big Corpa for funding the campaign to encourage them to vote for Mr Cameron's recommendations.

Back your argument well? Nah, you can't, been found lacking, again and again and again.. Lots of messages in support, aw bless, at least in your mind it makes your time here seem worthwhile.

Keep believing itLurked. You probably cost REMAIN quite a lot of loss of support. You're doing a great job. I am happy t help Grin

And yes, I am goading you now, you're not exactly a challenge to deal with, its just a bit of sport to come here when I'm bored and wind you up

Great. I can legitimately call you goady now because you've admitted you are. Grin

The REMAIN tag team is usually joined by Hovercraft at this point. Grin

I don't know what all the fuss is about. Im telling you, we're not going to leave, whether you like it or not!

TrappedByTiredness · 04/05/2016 23:38

I'd quite like us to though!

SpringingIntoAction · 04/05/2016 23:40

I have my own personal stalker who claims to know when I am reporting posts and who claims to have seen my CV.

I am flattered. Grin Does your professional body know you stalk people?

lurked101 · 04/05/2016 23:41

We won't leave, and Spring, Anna and Bronze won't have their street party, like anyone would have turned up anyway.

lurked101 · 04/05/2016 23:43

I'm going to defend buttered and say that YOU spiring report anything that you think is bullying, and MNHQ delete it straight away. Your comments to others would have got you deleted in the past and you have had couple done.

I wouldn't report you, you can't offend me dear, you're not my equal.

SpringingIntoAction · 04/05/2016 23:44

Woul that be annna " I try to make reasonable arguments to cover my racsim"?

Oh yes that'd be her...

That's a new low, Lurked - even for you.

AnnaForbes · 04/05/2016 23:46

First they ignore you, then they laugh at you, then they fight you, then you win. Ghandi.

I'm continuing to post about the reasons for supporting Brexit. I'll ignore the pathetic bullying and goading from certain posters.

Polls show both sides still neck and neck. We will see on 23rd June who wins. For the sake of my children, I hope it's Brexit. With the campaign being unfairly fought on the remain side, we have a fight on our hands but I'm confident we will win. Most people can see through the lies and spin,

AnnaForbes · 04/05/2016 23:49

The referendum poll of polls is exactly 50/50 as of today.

With Obama's threats, £9 million leaflet campaign, bribes to the Unions, Project Fear and Osbornes phony financial projections the remainers can still only match us. Shit, if the brexiters had all that on their side, they would be wiping the floor with the opposition.

butteredmuffin · 04/05/2016 23:51

Springing, your posting style gives you away as someone who has clearly not studied law in this country. Nobody who had would say, "I have qualifications in British law!" for example, because they would know that there is no such thing as "British law". There are actually three separate legal jurisdictions in the UK. So they would say, "I'm a lawyer/barrister/solicitor/paralegal", or "I have a law degree". They also wouldn't make bold and completely inaccurate statements about constitutional law. They also wouldn't opine on how the WTO rules work and then reference some completely irrelevant provision of international criminal law to back up their point.

Anybody who has studied law knows that it is such an enormous subject that they will really never scratch the surface of it, so they only tend to talk about the specific areas of law that they actually know about. The first rule of being a lawyer is that if it's a subject you know nothing about, you shut up and let someone else who does know do the talking.

And frankly, even someone who had done one year of an LLB at the University of Skegness before dropping out in 1982 could construct a better argument than you.

So I don't need to see your CV to know that you're telling fibs.

SpringingIntoAction · 04/05/2016 23:51

Hear, hear Anna

It's when they claim to tell me what I'm thinking and doing. They seem t think they control other people. That's a worrying trait to see in people who are espousing staying in an undemocratic superstate.

lurked101 · 04/05/2016 23:57

It's not low spring it's true.. sorry. You're all about "da truf" aren't you.

Tin foil hat on dear xx

Lurked, plenty of people with legal qualifications know nothing about international law. Ask the average property lawyer about international law and they will say, "Don't ask me, it's not my area of expertise."

And that's what gives Spring away.

SpringingIntoAction · 05/05/2016 00:02

Let's play find the reference to British law in these links:

www.historyandpolicy.org/policy-papers/papers/trade-unions-and-the-law-history-and-a-way-forward

www.britishlaw.org.uk/

www.quick-facts.co.uk/politics/britlaw.html

flax.nzdl.org/greenstone3/flax?a=fp&sa=collAbout&c=BlaRC&if=

www.palgrave.com/us/book/9781137571182

Do let me know if that 'evidence' is insufficient and I'll find some more for you..

I think you are confusing 'law' with 'legal systems'. Elementary mistake often made by people who are 'late' to the profession.

Can you also read my palm from where you are ButteredMuffin?

Can you see I am laughing Grin

lurked101 · 05/05/2016 00:04

Ah your an empty vessel, just a quick Google and you find that

butteredmuffin · 05/05/2016 00:06

Captain Google strikes again. Grin

If you had any legal qualifications you would not even be attempting to argue this point. Let's just hope anyone reading this who isn't a lawyer can see through you as clearly as I can.

Anyway, I'm off to bed. Because I have a real job and I have to be up bright and early.

Night all.

What do you expect me to do Lurked. We are on the fucking internet - that's why I posted internet links. You know the kind of links you keep asking for.

No wonder the OECD say school kids in the Uk are amongst the least literate and numerate in the western world with people like you teaching them.

Post a link Springing

I post a link

Nah nah you posted a link Springing. You found the link by goggling.

lurked101 · 05/05/2016 00:09

Just had a quick glance there.. you just Googled law and hit all the links you could? No context to any argument here. Hahaha

Limer · 05/05/2016 00:10

The voters who will decide the outcome of the EU referendum don't read threads like this, they don't click on links, they aren't interested in political infighting. They see their wages stagnating year after year, their costs of living continuing to rise, while hordes of migrants queue up to move here, resulting in ever-increasing demands on the already squeezed public services. They see the British countryside disappearing forever under concrete as the population keeps increasing at an accelerating rate.

Even the chattering classes won't give any credibility to someone who doesn't understand the difference between "your" and "you're".
