Boy in reception is telling my dd to F****off!

Today my dd came home from school andasked me whatF*off means. To say I was shocked is an understatment. Now Iam no saint but I've always been careful not to use bad language around the kids. DD has never said anything like this before. Yet after only 6 weeks of reception she is coming out with this.

After questioning on where she heard this word. She told me A boy in her class calledLee I(I kid ye not) Told her to "fOff you little B"
Iam furious... Not just because we pay a lot of money to send her to this school and To me this isn't good enough.
I have heard thru the grapevine that LEEs parents are a bit dodgy. You know the type, Tracksuits bling big cars and lots of money but they seem to have no jobs.
What shall I say to the class teacher tomorrow and what should I expect them to do about it?

Not sure what the boy's name, or the size of his parents' car has to do with anything, charlize. As far as I can see, private education is open to anyone who can pay the fees. I would certainly mention to the teacher that your daughter has picked up this language in class, and that the boy seems to be the culprit, and leave it at that. Hopefully, the school will be able to deal with any repeat of the incident appropriately.

He is obviously told he is a little b*** at home and I was just painting the picture of this boys home life and what he comes from in order to show that I don't think he is going to stop swearing as He must be exposed to it daily.

One of the boys in DS's reception class also swears... he was doing it back in preschool last year.
Charlize you'd be in your rights to tell the teacher that you consider such language unacceptable, you dont' want any such incidents again, you want them to speak to the child's parents they will take it seriously, but... I'm beginning to think that this kind of thing is something we have to get used to when our children start school. Complain by all means, but try not to let it upset you.

FGS! I asked for advice not to be slammed Lee in my opinion is a common name to give a baby nowadays but then he is named after his scally dad. And no I have nothibg agaisnt scallys but I do have someting agaisnt scally drug dealers.

Iam not a snob I grew up in the back streets of liverpoool. But believe me anyone who has their kids in a fee paying school kows the type Iam talking about and tgey are not nice people. Fact.

Well complain to the school about the swearing (although tbh since my mum complained that 2 year old ds2 was lying on the floor saying "bugger bugger bugger" today perhaps I can't say much- yep he did get it from me- that's what comes of spending 5 years with a child who doesn't talk or copy- all my friends with nonverbal kids found we didn't curb our language when others did).

However have to say I know quite a few people called Lee who aren't drugs dealers, quite a few people who wear tracksuits who aren't drugs dealers, and quite a few people who don't work who aren't srugs dealers either. So unless you have proof I wouldn't jump to conclusions- and I also wouldn't be that rude about the other boy to the teacher if you want them to take you seriously tbh.

Thanks Zebra. I agree hercules about not wanting it in your state school either. I think I shouldn't have mentioned that it was a private school. I don't want anyone to think that implies i think private kids shouldn't swear its not tat at all. In fact iam thinking of putting dd in our local state school to get her away from this boy and cause we have recently move and the local school is by all accounts lovely.
And it won't have the flash drug dealers.
