SURREY people- did you get your choice of school, heard of some strange decisions today !

Obviuosly dont know all the details as to why people got into certain school but on the face of it some decisions seem strange. A friend of mine is concerned that the equal preference system wasn't used properly or fairly.

Whats your experience today ?

F is not bad just not as good as it sed to be - it's very large and the middle of the roaders tend to get overlooked. Certainly much better than some of the others.....

There's also a new Head at f who is likely to make a big difference!

Just heard that dd is 1st on the waiting list for the Faith School so keep your fingers crossed for us! Apparently 2 parents have verablly accepted but not confirmed in writing. 1 of those children is currently at dd's nursery and her mum has told another mutual that friend she is staying at private school but is going to accept the state school place as well so that she doesn't lose out if she changes her mind!

am at the mum from nursery who is keeping her daughter private but also accepted a state school place. isn't there a way to put a stop to this?? (nor you personally, but there should be a general rule...)

She's in - we heard yesterday. Apparently the parents who were holding out failed to get thei written acceptance in in time.
