Hi. I was told that parcel was lost in 5 days of me posting to you. Subsequently I was told that it was damaged by you.

Firstly let me apologies for any inconvenience this has caused you and your customer. Also let me apologies for the length it has taken to resolve your claim.
We are pleased to confirm that we have today accepted your claim for £30.38.
As the item value exceeded the maximum compensation level you selected for this parcel, the claim value has been calculated by adding together the maximum compensation level with the postage value.
• Compensation level: £20.00
• Selling price: £550.00
• Hermes postage: £10.38
To allow us to make the payment, please provide the bank sort code, account number and your name as it appears on your bank records within 14 days.
Please ensure you do not provide your long card number as we do not require it to process your payment.
On receipt of your bank details, please allow 3-5 working days for us to pass your details to our Finance Department. You will receive a further email confirmation when your claim has been completed
